I don't think I'll be renewing
![]() I paid £33 (via cards) and the only games I would play is PSone Syphon Filter! I have had discounts which were useful (MGS, Dead Nation) and I got LBP, but unless they offer a REALLY good incentive to join for another year, I don't think I'll be doing it. If I let it cancel, and then there's a good PS3 game they giveaway as part of the sub, then I might. But over time, it just doesn't feel right having games on my console that arn't really mine. If Sony ever pull PS+ or in the future we get the PS4, they might do away with the Plus subscription and those games you've had collected may have to be purchasable. I've really changed my tune I know, but at least I got my moneys worth in discounts, LBP, and a couple of Beta's. |

Thing is Frail I'd see the games as rental really. By the time the PS4 comes out, you wont be interested in them anyway. Again, if you dont have much from PSN then the games plus the system features are probably good value.
I bought all the ones I was interested in from the store though and still to this day havent seen any game giveaways that I fancied anyway. I would like the system features though, but I'm not paying that amount for just that. I really wish they would offer a "system only" plus type thing though. Not sure of a price, say £20 or so. |

I think I'm finished with Plus now. I only really buy PSN games if it looks really really good. I like my classics, but I don't think any of the PSN games will go down as classics in my eyes. Will save my sub money for something else.

The only two games that I've seen that are good get offered on PSN+ have been Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse (but not a lot of people here liked it ) and Stacking (which again, I haven't really seen many people here say they like it).On those two cases, PSN+ seems to be targeting the old school Adventure Game fans, which I pretty much assume arn't on PSN+ and would have already bought the games anyway. And those that ARE on PSN+ wouldn't be the type interested in Adventure Games because it's not something in their style. They should just offer a discount on COD Map Packs, everyone goes batshit insane for COD Map Packs, PSN+ subs would like triple is Sony pulled some shit where they could offer COD Map Packs at the same time as Xbox Live. After all, COD has fans who are just willing to throw money away. |

I was disappointed we didn't get a discount on Resident evil
![]() I haven't use Plus for anything but dynamic themes for months, I did download Stacking because it was totally free. But stuff I really want is never there and that doesn't include COD map packs. I think they'll offer something big around its 1st anniversary to get good renewals from the early adoptors. |

Probably alone on this - but I like the service.
I got a bit narked with it earlier in the year, because they kept on going for content that I already owned and there hadn't been any improvements or developments to the service. But the last few months have been great. The content has been fresh to me, and games that I like (stacking was a real plus ) The cloud storage is great for me, allowing me to shift saves between my two PS3s with great ease. And - I do enjoy getting betas etc. I seem to be a rare, happy subscriber. |

Can't complain with it being free. |

I'm starting to like PS+ now we get some betas etc. Also, cloud storage is a great plus (no pun intended). I'm still annoyed that they charged £2 for crash bandicoot

I just don't like the content they give me. It hasn't been a waste though. I got MGS discounted, and Crash, and free LBP and discounted Dead Nation, but that's all I've actually used. |

I liked the idea of Plus to start with, but now they kinda blackmail you to do it with the services like cloud saving and auto downloads. Both of which I do occasionally use.

Also the implementation of cloud storage is dreadful, manually having to copy files over is tedious. |

Again not impressed. I don't want free megadrive games!
The Infamous 2 beta for ALL Plus customers may have made me think about renewing. |

Some of the games look crap like Dynogems and Creatures but others have quite good playtime like Sonic. |

Update is now up
![]() Quite mental to see an add on pack being bigger than some games shows how far games have came on since then. |

Be interested to try the red faction game. Sonic 2 is a great game, that will keep the missus happy.
Looking forward to trying PoP classic as well. Nice to see a bit of MS:A dlc - great game. And the reductions on Beyond Good and Evil and Dungeon Hunter are welcome. Fingers crossed that I get into the Infamous 2 beta. I did okay(ish) on the trophies although I never did complete my evil playthrough or find all those darn blast shards (was missing two at the end of the game ![]() )

EU PS+ is getting the Resistance 3 beta for all members.
Am pretty hopeful for this one. Loved the first game, didn't really get on with the second, but I have faith in Insomniac. One of my top 5 developers. |

Well with PSN cards now £25, there isn't really a way to get Plus for less than £39.99 now.
I really don't know what to do. I looked at all the content they have given me since I signed up on Day One. The only games I would play is Syphon Filter, and maybe Sonic 1 and 2. I haven't got any of my Plus content installed because it'll only become invalid when my subscription ends. Not sure I can warrent £40 anymore. |

Just had another look at all the PS+ content I had downloaded (and then deleted).
Since Day one of launch, I'm only interested in Syphon Filter, Sonic 1 and 2, and Price of Persia Classic! Oh and the free LBP. Even in this 'biggest plus update so far' there wasn't anything of interest to me. I take back what I've said before really...It isn't worth it for 'rental' of the games. I think I will invest my £40 at renewal time in buying Syphon Filter. I have £20 PSN credit that I haven't used for months! I actually want my sub to be over now as it kills me knowing it's a total waste! I went to buy Syphon Filter as I actually want to own in forever, but it just let's me download it for free. I expect there's an expire date though. |

I've been thinking long and hard and I think I'm going to get PS+. The return of the 15 for 12 months offer has swayed me, especially now that the online storage is available for those anyonying locked saves. Anything else they offer is a plus as far as I'm concerned. I don't care about PS1 titles (I still have a working chipped PS1) or minis, but greater discounts on titles and DLC I want to buy is always welcome.

You're right, it is a good offer, but the quality of some of the title's they give arn't that good. Once your sub ends, all those games you get attatched to are gone, and you'd have to then buy them.

Only free titles and free DLC would be lost. Anything purchased would be retained, along with any free avatars and themes and I'm ok with that arrangement.
