News on PlayStation Plus for the PS Vita was expected this week, as previously confirmed by the official Blog.

We were expecting the first information on discounted games, cloud storage, automatic downloads and everything else that Plus brings, but to the portable console.

Sadly, this is no longer happening this week.

“The blog post has been delayed until early next week while we finalise all the details,” said Plus’ Chris Howe, commenting on the Blog.

Whether or not the team will be making a slightly more visible notice we’ll just have to wait and see, but it’s a shame that this has been delayed, especially in the wake of poorer than ever Vita sales in at least one territory.

Still, at least the machine is being advertised well, although that French ad is still bafflingly misplaced.

Fingers crossed for next week, then.

i honestly would be happy for the first few months if we just got PSP and PS1 Classic with an occasional PSN PS Vita game, i'm not expecting any full games for the Vita when its added
I wish they would start doing free minis and PS1/PS2 classics again (for PS3), they were quite a common occurrence before the whole instant game collection started but ever since, they seem to have stopped doing them altogether, sure they have one to two discounted but there haven't been any free classics or minis in months which is a bit of a shame for me as I came to PS+ to get away from huge full PS3 games which are sometimes just too daunting in size and scale and enjoy some lighter gaming that minis and classics are great for.

Saying that, overall I have been very impressed with the full games they have provided Deus Ex Human Revolution and Red Dead Redemption being two particular highlights, just a shame they seem to have come at the cost of the classics and minis.

I cant see many Minis and PSX games returning to PS+ as Sony have seen a massive uptake in customers since the move towards full games. The full games is what has drawn me to PS+ and while I would like a few Minis and Classics I would much rather the full games.

I'm hoping for Plants vs Zombies as one of the first free game on PS+ Vita.

Trouble is I know damn well they are going to give a few away I already have, but I suppose I have been luck with the PS3 games as I've only had two of those so far (since the full game collections started in June).

Hi guys

It's that time of year and good old Santa is bringing me a PSN+ membership.

I'll be getting a bigger hard drive in the new year to take advantage of the freebies, but will I be able to upload save games to the cloud for the other users on the PS3 or is strictly only from my account ? (or am I stuck with using a USB drive to back it all up ?)

Ta

The cloud storage space is for the user account with PS Plus only.

Anybody having problems with the Playstation Store today?

Tried to add Scott Pilgrim and Ratchet and Clank to my basket, and no matter how many times I tried, it came up with 'An error has occured'. Didn't even give an error code.

Suspect it is just the awful temperamental nature of the new store, but has it happened to anyone else?

It will let you download eventually just keep coming back to it and it will finally process it properly.

Finally got it working today, at last.

New PS Store is just laughably bad, massive step backwards.

Has anybody managed to download Cubixx? When I tried, all I got was the "unlock", I can't find the actual game/trial download anywhere.

Yeah, I had to search for it in the end so you may have to do the same, just search "Cubixx" and it should come up, you'll need to scroll down to find it

I had the same problem because I downloaded it as the update was happening (It was not in the PS+ area but found during a search). I had to delete it from my system and then reclick it and download from the PS+ section to get it to work.

Which seemed strange as I have downloaded a few PS+ games from the search before they actually arrive in the PS+ section and they have all worked fine.

Mystery solved. (Sort of)

It wasn't showing up on the store for me because I had downloaded and then deleted the trial once before, back in August 2011. God knows why that's an issue. Anyway, I have found it in my download list, and am now downloading it from there.

Cheers for the input.

With yesterday's update, and with the new PS+ for Vita, I downloaded around £125-worth of stuff yesterday.

Add to that the 12 month subscription to Music Unlimited for £11.99 I'm pretty happy with + at the moment.

Music Unlimited is an absolutely amazing deal considering Spotify offer the same thing for £9.99 a month. The only downside is that, as yet, it doesn't offer offline mode for iOS devices

Ouch, that'd be a killer for me as 3G is so patchy in my area, fortunately I'm on Android.
