I tried to check this last night but the store was undergoing maintenance. My understanding that following the update Walking Dead Ep 1 was free (for everyone), and Eps2-5 were half price for PS+

Episode 1 is free for all, the PS+ discounts are £8.99 for the season pass and £2 for each of the remaining four episodes, which is all a bit silly once you do the maths.

Sony have just announced April's games

3rd April: Okami HD
3rd April: Lord of the Rings: War in the North
3rd April: The Cave
10th April: Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward
24th April: Thomas Was Alone

I shall be getting them all I think. I'm so glad I held off buying Okami and the Cave last week. Can't wait to try them out

Shit man....I signed up to Psn+ and summat went wrong with my Ps3 HDD so I had to format it and now I can't remember my Pword

No matter though. Most of the games didn't interest me.

Awesome month for me in April

My friend and I have been talking about getting Lord of the Rings for the Co-op so getting it free is nice.

I enjoyed The Cave demo so I am looking forward to playing that and I really enjoyed what I played of Okami on PS2 so I will now give that a proper play through.

Makes up for the rather dub March update (From my perspective).

You should be to recover it so long as you used a genuine email address and d.o.b etc

Great month for me. Have been dying to play Okami HD and have heard great things about Virtues Last Reward.
I rented LOTR a while back. Decent game, good in co-op.

Nothing in April really interests me; a good thing indeed because Mass Effect 3 is still downloading, I'm only just finished Quantum Conundrum and working my way through The Walking Dead

Highly recommend Quantum Conundrum actually. Frustrating at times due to an increased focus on first-person platforming in the last quarter of the game, but a lot of charm and some great puzzles. I'm not usually a fan of puzzle games but it's much better than the likes of Limbo.

^^ That is brilliant that they are informing people that it will be offered for free next month in the news about it been on the sale. They really don't have to do this but its nice they are choosing to tell people for the content they know will be free soon.

And that is awesome as I wanted Hitman so May is looking good already.

That's a shame because I already own it but never mind I've still got loads to be getting through. Great game though and would recommend it to anyone especially since its free with Plus. I agree on how nice it is of Sony because as said above they really don't have to tell us and could squeeze and extra few pound out of people. However I imagine that the want to keep people sweet with the PS4 release this year. They don't want people going to Next-Box instead.

Completely forgot to get the april games on my download list until this thread popped back up

So glad Hitman is free in may, not played any hitman games but this one had me interested and it could get me into the series

It's not exactly the best representation of the series, many actual fans don't like this game because it's too Hollywood-esque and removes a lot of freedom, having levels set in confined and small areas compared to previous games and not letting you be as creative in how to kill a lot of people.

The best game in the series that most fans seem to agree on is Hitman: Blood Money which can be found in the Hitman HD Collection.

Good news about Hitman. Rented it briefly and quite enjoyed it - had a nice macabre humour to it, which I liked.

Have started to play through Okami. You really have to push past the opening section which has loads (and I mean loads) of exposition all relayed in text form. Once you get to actual game it plays really well. The art style and the world are brilliantly imaginative and the gameplay is really solid (similar to Zelda.)

Also starting to play Virtues Last Reward. Another odd title - but it seems promising so far.

In other plus related news - I just finished chapter 5 of The Walking Dead thanks to the recent sale. *sniff*

Really enjoying Virtues last reward, liked the demo of this so glad this has been offered, been looking forward to this since it was announced.

WD was great I was hooked, Disapointed though that it isn't possible to have an alternative ending I thought this was maybe the case due to the possibilitys.

Started Okami the other day, nearly gave up after it taking so bloody long, does seem interesting but unsure if i'll come back to it.

Whilst you've said loads twice I still don't think you're making it clear enough that it's an absolutely ridiculously long intro. Genuinely 20 minutes long, reading text having to click advance every 10 seconds or so. Ridiculous. I can imagine plenty of people not bothering getting to the decent game underneath due to how much work you have to put in just to start it!

Heh - true. I didn't mention the annoying voice over sound effects either The game is worth the effort... but it is an effort to get there.

Eu blog has just announced May's update

Leaving PS Plus in May:
1st May: Okami HD
1st May: F1 Race Stars
1st May: Quantum Conundrum

Entering PS Plus in May:

1st May: Catherine
1st May: Malicious

Can't quite remember what Malicious was but I remember being interested in it when it came out, think it's a hack & slash?

Pleased about Hitman. Catherine is an interesting addition.

I played the demo for Sine Mora and really enjoyed it. A decent horizontal shooter with a couple of nice gameplay tweaks, it looks nice too.

1st May: Catherine
1st May: Malicious
8th May: Sine Mora
15th May: Velocity Ultra HD

Hitman as i (think in this thread) said i was thinking about getting and would bought had i known how cheap it was

Catherine i was looking at getting but was worried so i was waiting for that to go cheap as well

Sine Mora i've considered getting a few times but bought other stuff instead

In short a great month and a total saving out about £40, which isn't bad when you consider its only £30 to sub for a year
