Thomas Was Alone is a cross buy product so we get both Vita and PS3 versions through PS+

I thought it was Vita only when it was announced and was pleasantly surprised when I claimed the free game and got both versions.

The Lord of the Rings game is glitchy as hell so be warned if you plan to put that on. We had major problems on our second run through as the game forgot we have completed the "Mirkwood" quest which meant that we had to join a random public game and forward my story that way, I played through in co-op and both of our stories broke at that point and we had to split up until each of our game save files had passed Mirkwood. (If you play the game either save and quit at the Dwarf turret defence section or carry on playing until you pass the Mirkwood section (About 40minutes of play) seems to best way to avoid this)

The making potions trophy is glitchy, it took me well over 30 potions for it to pop.

The strength of alliance trophy is glitched, I go it with a friend and an AI player, my mate had to join a random public game to get his to work.

Various other problems like disappearing weapons, sound effects going loud and staying on, headsets distorting until reset also plagued this game.

That said it was a fun co-op game for the first two play throughs but running through a third time for the platinum became tedious. Its worth what I paid for it

Yep I noticed that, Hitman is currently flying down

I had a quick look this morning not really expecting it to be available yet and it was to my surprise. I hope this becomes the norm as I cant really download after 16:00 (Virgin traffic management) so normally have to wait until Thursday to download most of the + content

Managed to get Hitman downloading. I just went to my download list and downloaded it again by itself, didn't bother with the sniper challenge or Deus Ex stuff as I was getting the error when it was installing some weapon.

At 17GB, it'll take longer to install than download!

Just noticed, while looking for additional content for Hitman, that the speical edition is also available under 'download' so i thought i'd click it, and low and behold, it started downloading for free.

This is the special edition that has sleeping dogs as part of the package, which i know was only on plus a couple of months ago, but is good for people who have only just picked plus up.

What's Malicious like? It looks like a good Sony exclusive; but not talked about a lot.

I've just downloaded Catherine. I've got limited space on my HDD, so I can really play one big title at time.

Hitman absolution

I am really enjoying Hitman and I am finding it quite hard at times trying to get through the levels without been seen. Some sections are really frustrating because you have to wait for what seems like ages to move without been detected.

One thing that does annoy me though is that you have to select your difficulty every time you load the game from the main menu.

The sniper challenge is also pretty good fun, probably one of the best "Pre-order" bonuses I have seen as I believe this was released before the game itself came out.

Also I like how this has an accompanying App on my phone. While its pretty crap its a nice idea and hopefully something that will be developed on further by other developers.

Overall well worth the mammoth download.

I played a bit of it, very confusing and the camera is bad. It really didn't leave me a desire to play it again.

I didn't think it was very good at all. I just ran around shooting those cape whisp things out and trying not to get hit. Didn't interest me at all and got deleted straight away. Not for me but not going to complain wen it's free

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection and Demon's Souls will be part of PS+ in June

Three more games I have been wanting to play but never got around to buying them yet.

Does anyone else use a different PSN account to try these PS+ game out so they dont get added to their trophy list? Because I do as I dont want crap like Malicious cluttering the list with a zero percent completion.

2 more games I already own haha ah well. Didn't they shut down the Demon Souls servers though? A lot more difficult on your own!!

I never thought of that you clever thing! I wish I had done that. I have loads of 0% games on my list; I'm not fussed about actually having them but since they moved the trophies to the online section it takes an absolute age to load them all up and has even been known to crash while trying to view them. It's rather annoying.

You can set the trophies to offline so they load just like before. I think it might be an option if you press triangle on the trophy icon on the XMB, but have a look around there is an option somewhere at least.

I saw that but dos it still upload them to the internet during my nightly update? Because I still want them online in case something happens to my PS3

Yes

Earn a trophy in the day and it will be synced up during the PS+ over night update then when you load the trophy list the next day it wont do the syncing unless you have earned a trophy between the auto update and looking at your list.

Ah brilliant thanks, I'll do that.

With Demon Souls coming onto I may have to give that another go. I never did actually finish it. I have finished Dark Souls but not Demon so will dust it off again and try it out and if the servers are open then there could be a lot more online players around.

A quick google found a story that mentions that when the digital version of Demon Souls was release Atlus brought the server back online again so hopefully the same will/has happened here. Hopefully someone with the game can shed more light on the situation.

Assuming the servers are back up for Demon Souls what is the online like? Can I play it co-op with a mate or is it something else, I recall hearing it had a unique online component.

Apparently the games mentioned for June are just two of our three main PS3 games on Plus. Shadow of the Colossus and Ico are been classed as one game because they are a collection.
