Most PS+ content is a year old when it's added, so they won't have any problems continuing to find PS3 games to the end of 2014.

It'll take a long time for the majority of PS3 users to move over to PS4 so I don't know why people think Sony will break all links with PS3 come November

Don't forget that at E3 they'll be changing the year-long games, so at the moment inFamous 2, LBP and Motorstorm Apocalypse.

If you've contemplating PS+, now will be the time to join as you'll get those three then the next big three.

Also it's worth triggering the download for games your not wanting right now then cancel the download. They stay on your purchased list and you can download them anytime in the future as long as your still subscribed to ps+, even after they are removed from the IGC page.

I do it with every game, even the PSVita games and I don't have a Vita yet as you never know in the future what you fancy playing. It's also good for people with smaller hard drives, means you can play through them one at a time and dont need to worry about the deal expiring and missing any games.

I do that too - even with games I don't like the look of.

It's amazing that people still don't get the IGC system. Most people still think that when a title leaves, it goes forever!

It's not a short-term rental service, as long you remain a subscriber, you'll have access to everything you've acquired before!! I guess it's just too complex for a lot of people out there to understand.

And then you have the people who don't understand the value, if anyone can show me a way to get 65 PS3 PSN and PS Vita games for under £30 then i'll be interested in what they have to say

Better yet why doesn't somebody show me
how to get
130 games for £60
or
195 games for £90

these are the amounts of money/games we are going to be dealing with in the future, hell you can't even get three PS2 games for a £1, let alone thee high quality ones

Now i can fully understand wanting to own a psychical copy of a game, when it comes to new release i'll always get a hard copy over a download, that's a fair reason to not want to sub to plus

but anyone who denies that its value for money is either kidding themselves or is just plain stupid

As a Day 1 subscriber, I've been saying that from the start. I mainly subscribe for auto updates and cloud savings, so the games are a huge bonus!

2 things - buy a PS+ 90 day sub at amazon and get Fifa 13 for Vita free!

My sub for Plus runs out June next year... with the PS4 on it's way this year, what do you think Sony will do for PS3 people until their sub runs out? They can't expect people to not get anything from their subs if they are still allowing subscriptions now right?
Thank, pal, just done that! Not sure if I'll actually ever play Fifa for Vita, but hell I ain't paying fot it, just the Plus extension!!

I don't what action Sony will take to apply plus to the PS4. But one option who be to give people a choice between 2 PS3 games or 1 PS4 game a month.

No probs. Do what I did - buy the sub for £11.99 then list the FIFA 13 code on ebay for £11.99! After fees, you've got a 90 day sub for around £2!

You win, you lose. Bought Amalur recently on PSN for 15 quid. However Demons Soul's looks useful, so I'll view that as a late equaliser. Continuing with the cliched sporting analogies, I've had some fine scores on Steam recently. Tomb Raider 15, XCOM 10 and NFS HP a fiver. So that's 4-1. A scoreline I'll happily settle for tonight in Amsterdam!

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a reasonable game although gets a little tiresome near the end.

I have already got that but I am looking forward to the other PS3 content.

I also noticed this in the comments section on the PS Blog

When will you post the yearly update games for june?
To which one of the staff replied

Don’t fear we will let you know something soon
So 3 more games coming in June presumably.

inFamous, LBP and Motorstorm expire on June 5th, I'd expect to see PS All Stars (PS3 + Vita), maybe UC3 single player given MP is free now anyway and something else.

That will be announced at E3 like the last three probably.

Because DS is greedy.

If they expire June 5th and E3 is June 11th, then...?

Annoying isn't it lol I don't like to buy older games anymore in case they end up on Plus. I've managed to stop myself just in time a couple of times. I was about to buy Arkham City jus before Christmas but decided to wait until the Game of the Year version ws cheape and then a month later the main game was free

I played the demo for kingdoms of Amalur and wasn't too impressed. The camera has a mind of it's own, I kept running into walls. Also the character just stands there during conversations, it seemed a bit weird. I'll give it another go as it's free. Maybe i'll like it better.

I also purchased Amalur a short while ago but at least the other three games I don't own and apart from ICO have never played either so its still a decent month for me.

It has its problems but as long as you go into the game knowing it has issues and is an average 3/5 game at best it is pretty enjoyable if you can get over its issues.

Argh! I've just bought Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD collection, thats £10 down the virtual toilet then I am sure someone said they are supposed to warn you now when you purchase something that is about to be made free?, yet I received no warning at all.

The other thing that has been bugging me lately about PS+ is that they seem to be stepping up the amount of Vita games on there, which isn't so great for those of us who don't have (or want) a Vita. I don't mind so much for games that are exclusive to Vita but find it really annoying when they do it for games that do have a identical PS3 version as well. Two recent examples of this, which I really wanted to play but can't because they only made the Vita version available are Puddle and Sine Mora. Why not let us choose one of the available versions instead of forcing us to have the Vita one?

Can see me having to buy a Vita just so I feel like I am getting the best value from my plus subscription, which is annoying.

Despite that, I love PS plus, and agree it is excellent value to the extent I haven't bought any retail PS3 disc games since I started subscribing back in 2011 and my subscription goes all the way up to Sept 2015!

I sort of feel plus would be wasted on me now. I imagine looking back now the library of games I would have access to but now obviously would be starting with the 10. Can see us changing over to ps4 too and not sure if it moves to ps4 or stays at ps3.
