I'm hoping for Unfinished Swan and Journey by the end of the year. I was expecting GT5 to come on when GT6 is due, they often do that, give you the old one when the new one comes up (Saints Row, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Battlefield, Borderlands etc)
Yeah, GT5 has been rumoured for ages, though getting a bit late for it now unless it is next month or so.

Yeah there is a definite trend of that happening, makes sense as interest in the old one will be least when anticipation is high for the next one so it re-ignites peoples interest a bit and maybe gets them buying some DLC if they enjoy the game too...

Wish they'd do a month of 1 game give away plus 1 catch up token. You could use this to get a title that has previously been offered but you missed. Maybe offer this say twice yearly.
Though nice in theory, could imagine this being a headache to implement reliably and with games now not changing for a whole month (I'm sure it was more frequent, twice monthly at one point? ) surely it isn't too much to ask for one to go onto the store at least once in each month and download the current games?

The only issue I keep coming up against is HDD space (and that's after fitting a 750GB) but you can always delete them after download (or even cancel the download once started).

Though I sympathise in that the store has been a sluggish experience ever since the update, I wish they hadn't done, the more minimalist approach was much better than the huge, slow to navigate banner images they seem to have everywhere now.

I think we'll see Lost planet 2 , Dead space 3 and Splinter cell Blacklist before too long. I've put Blacklist in as the price seems to be plummeting so not sure if that's due to bad sales or not.

One thing I would like to know (though I doubt we will find out for a while yet) is if the PS3 will be able to 'buy' PS4 games (like the free Driveclub and Resogun) as you can with the PSP and Vita for example?

Really hope this is the case as I pre ordered really late (just last week) as I had been dithering whether to or not and only just made up my mind to after seeing a really good pre order deal so might well not even see my PS4 this year and would be devastated if all the PS plus launch freebies had expired by the time my console arrived.

Fair enough, I often wonder what there was before I joined in May 2011, I know they did a lot more indie stuff in the early days, kinda wish they still did, or at least a balance of indie and mainstream.

If we cant do it through ps3 then im thinking we should still possibly be able to through the sen webstore. Although maybe sony have thought of this and will stop it.

There will also be the PlayStation App on phones and tablets where you should be able to make "purchases".

It seems to be, or at least a major overhaul of the existing one.

According to Sony - "A new application from SCE called “PlayStation®App” will enable iPhone, iPad, and Android based smartphones and tablets to become second screens Once installed on these devices, users can, for example, see maps on their second screens when playing an adventure game, purchase PS4 games while away from home and download it directly to the console at home, or remotely watch other gamers playing on their devices".

There's always a chance this will be locked to confirmed PS4 owners, but it might be possible for PS3 owning PS+ subscribers to build up their PS4 download list.

Yeah lets hope we can build them up. It works both ways anyway. For example I had no interest in a vita but now ive a few plus things purchased for it, im now swaying. Same could happen to encourage folk to go ps4

Yeah, a ready made collection of PS4 games would certainly be a good carrot to dangle in front of potential buyers.

I've had my Vita since launch, but have only just got around to getting a 32GB card for it. All of a sudden, I have more games than I know what to do with!

I already own Far Cry 3 so thats a bit of a bummer, but I have always been interested in Dragons Dogma and Giana Sisters looks interesting so overall not too bad this month.

I am still hoping Tomb Raider hits Plus soon.

Thats the way I look at it. At the moment I am going PS4 anyway but if MS pull something awesome out of the bag I am open to be swayed over to their system over the course of the next 12months. But if I have already built up a library of PS4 games through Plus that is going to be a huge pull to get a PS4 as I will already have a collection of games.

I think Sony would be crazy to not allow PS3 owners to claim PS4 Plus content.

That's what I did - built up a collection of vita games using Ps+ (after I saw someone else posting about purchasing the games even though they didn't have a vita, and realised I was being an idiot for not doing the same), then bought a vita, soon followed by the mega-pack. Now I have a Vita with 32gb card and 29 games on it, and play it a fair bit more than I thought I would too.

Remote Play with PS4 looks like it will be pretty good too. One point though - 'the new app will allow iphone, ipad, and android devices to become a 2nd screen' - why not Vita???

I was sure I had a far cry save but downloaded and had to start from scratch again. Maybe I had deleted it or maybe the disc and download saves werent compatible.
Anyone else confirm either way.

The disc save isn't compatible with the digital version as I discovered yesterday so I deleted the game as I didn't want to start all over again after opening everywhere up. I checked under save game utility and had a Far Cry 3 save & a Far Cry 3 digital save. Annoying!!

For the first time, there are more people that have voted 'yes' than 'no'

I think many of us who did vote no have changed their mind too.

That's one thing that's good about PS4. It's been said that games while be playable whilst downloading. The install times on PS3 are horrendous & can take longer to install than it does to download the game!

I was just going to ask if anyone has installed it successfully. I started the download at about 11PM last night after coming off GTA 5. Got to about 80% (installed, the download was done in less than an hour) by 1AM but then I had to go to bed so left it to do over night, got up this morning but now seems to be stuck at 90% though the system hasn't completely crashed as it still has the moving bars in the background but no response to the controller.

I want to get back to GTA but I'm really wary of hard powering off the system in case I corrupt the HDD as it has ~700GB (mostly PS Plus) of games which would literally take me weeks to restore.

I have had this kinda thing happen before with big downloads (though the downloads always seem to fly by compared to the horrendous install times). It really annoys me the way it effectively locks you out for the entire duration of the install, I really hope they fix this with PS4, surely even on the PS3 they could have a cancel option or something.

Apparently Dragons Dogma has an install glitch which is why it takes even longer than normal to install. Not sure if that's true just something I read over on the EUPS forums.

I was in the same position steven123, PS+ auto update started the download and install but the installation was still going on when I wanted to play GTA. I was too scared to turn it off though, didn't want to risk it. Sounds like your install is going even slower than mine

Well it hasn't crashed as it just hit 91% but if it continues at this glacial pace I can forget about using my PS3 anytime today.

I dare say the fact my HDD is filling up probably isn't helping as installs are usually slower the fuller the HDD is but I did have ~40GB before I started the download so hopefully there will be at least enough room for it to complete. I've already got a 750GB in there the only other step is 1TB but then I'd have to put everything back on it and it's only another 250GB, which I'd probably fill in no time thanks to PS Plus.....

Glad to report Dragons Dogma has finally finished installing and it only took 22 hours!! No GTA for me today, I'll have to make up for it tomorrow....

Glad I didn't have to hard power off, always a bit worried about doing that, Sony really need to implement a cancel button or just make the games install within a sensible time period.
