You've got to do it in stealth really.

Played Outlast for about half an hour, it's not my cup of tea TBH. I don't mind games with some stealth but ones that require complete stealth with no radar and you can hardly see just isn't for me.

In all fairness its the first PS+ game for the PS4 that I haven't liked which isn't to bad.

Just downloading Outlast courtesy of the PS App on my phone. Works like a charm. Hopefully it will be downloaded ready to have a play after the kids have gone to bed.

It's not the easiest to navigate on iOS either. Fine for occasional use though.

Maybe they don't do auto background installs in case someone at home was to switch the machine off, potentially causing corruption of the whole file/HDD?? Just a guess.

Not sure FF. When I got in my son was playing fifa on it, so possible it hasn't finished by time he started playing. I can't really get a chance to analyse things on ps4 as someone is always on it.

I download queued Outlast (via the PSN IPhone App) ... it downloaded & installed while the PS4 was in standby! ... Don't understand why yours didn't!

As above. Maybe my son interrupted it if it hadnt finished. When he quit fifa and I looked again it said it was installed and also had an update file.

One thing. When you do this does The ps4 spring to life or does it do it all while in standby mode ? Wife said she thought she heard it making noises this afternoon when she was reading.

As far as I saw, the orange strip light pulses for a bit while the download is initiated and then goes solid again.

Ah right! ... That possibly explains why!

(& mine just stays on the orange light ... While it's downloading / installing in standby!)

Sounds feasible. Just checked and mine downloaded, installed and patched automatically when left alone. Thankfully my kids are distracted by the Wii U at the moment.

Is there a list of games that have appeared on Plus

Sometimes i'm waiting for a game to show up on and i'm not sure it has and i've just forgotten, or it was on the service before i even signed up so it can never be on it again

It makes me more likely to buy games at launch. I don't mind that I've already played BioShock 18 months ago.

I don't mind either but Bioshock Infinite was on it after only 10 month, and that was regarded by many as GOTY.

Bioshock Infinite is sensational. Easily one of the best games I've ever played and I don't think I'm even half way through.

And I say that as somebody who didn't enjoy either Bioshock 1 or 2.

PS+ is such a great service because of that, would be so easy just to give away shovelware every month instead of GOTYs!
