But it does however look really nice on a SDTV in RGB SCART which is what I have my Wii hooked up to. Not a fan of the look of Wii games on HDTV.

It's better than RGB on a HDTV but RGB on a SDTV Look much better than component 480p on a HDTV imho, certainly LCD, plasma handles lower resolutions a bit better.
Also with the retro games they were made obviously with CRT SDTV in mind, and you are able to run them at their native resolution of 240p which look the business on a CRT but looks really horrible and blocky on a HDTV. For me, I only use HDTV for 720p and up. |

This is one thing that I just dont understand with Nintendo and VC. As some of us know, using certain other means we can have these retro games running on Wii on a HDTV and looking just like they do on a CRT, but full screen and full speed.

Yeah that's one thing that does let down the VC for PAL users. The 50hz borders thing is pretty bad and it's not been well thought out for HDTV users.
Like you say though, the homebrew emulators well make up for that though. |

I was slightly unsure if this would be worth the money or not but watching the video below has made me want the game Day 1.It looks like a great game and has very positive comments from those that have played it through to the finish.

! ![]() My God that looks absolutely amazing. The designs look really clever and I love the way they put the classic DKC music in there. This or Goldeneye... this or Goldeneye....

Amazon is listing this as 'In Stock' and ready to buy, rather than Available for 'Pre-Order'
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Donkey-Kong-...8629308&sr=8-4 Has anybody any idea why this is? It's not supposed to be released until December. |

How many times can they have K Rool as the baddie though. Maybe they are just trying to mix in previous characters to spice the game up, in the same way that they have included Shy Guys from Mario 2 in future Mario games because Koopas and Goombas on their own do get boring!

She has bodyguards, the Toad race... it's just that they're small and useless!
