o2 simplicity PAYG

am i missing something here, or is this a pretty good deal.

i've had my iPhone for a year, and had been topping up £10 a month to get 300 texts plus, i think, 100 minutes.

so my year's included net bolt on has just ended. so i had thought it would cost me £20 a month to get the 300 texts, 100 minutes and unlimited web.

but then i'd been reading that unlimited web was about to be stopped, and they'd all start capping it.

but as far as i can tell with this simplicity plan i can get unlimited texts, unlimited web and 100 minutes for £15.

at least, i don't think i've missed anything.

Capped data usage doesn't come into effect until next Thursday, then unlimited data is promotional only until it is phased out all together in October.

if you sign up to a 12 month simplicity deal BEFORE the 24th you will get the unlimited data for the 12 months, after the 24th you will be on the new capped tariffs.

that kinda sucks a bit - they've literally just started advertising the simplicity for PAYG - so to cap it as soon as that seems a bit cheeky.

oh well.

That's not what's happening, the other posters are talking about the Pay Monthly Simplicity, NOT the Pay as You Go Simplicity. The Pay as You Go has always been 500megabytes, so there will be no change.

Yes, but if you look at the T&Cs, the Pay and Go Simplicity has a Fair Usage of 500megabytes and has done since it launched.

DO O2 still offer the Web & WiFi Bolt-on for £10 p/month? This is where you get truly unlimited internet?
