I think it's something along those lines.

I've seen the leaked photos, I've read most of the spoilers right down to the most recent one about Rory in the early hours of this morning, I've read your other post and I still don't know how it ends. Well I do, but there's more to it than that so it's not ruined for me. In fact I wouldn't mind more spoilers/pics now.

Seriously? How long will they be down for? Was it because of the embargoed pics or because of spoilers?

I couldn't possibly love River Song more.

Also the other person that pilots the TARDIS is:

Spoiler
River and I think she learns from Pond.

have to say they seem a bit.....over sensitive about those spoiler pictures over there, lots of people ordering other people not to post them as they were still embargoed and so on. I'd say once they are out they are out, no good trying to pretend otherwise

the forum was down this morning but was back up when i left, maybe there is trouble due to heavier traffic this week?

1) how many people have actually seen the leaked pictures since they are embargoes from the media? A few thousand max!

2) i really think that while one make a guess about what happens, we actually have no clue as to the specifics as to how it happens actually.

I wasn't.

it was full of lies, twisted untruths, and malicious falsehoods.

I asked an important question about ratings, timeshifts, and iPlayer, got a great answer off Jay Hunt herself, and yet the trolls on Gallifrey Base lied through their teeth, said I made a fool of myself, and said Steven Moffat buried his face in his hands, which was a total lie.

Why do they behave like this ??? What can they hope to achieve by telling such bare faced lies ???

I was at the BAFTA screening last night. While i can confirm that Moff did not hold his head in his hands, he clearly was frustrated by the length of your question ("yes, yes, they all know that") While i respect your right to ask any question that you like, i felt it was too long and was eating into the time for other possible questioners, especially the kids present. Also, to my mind, it was not really a question but an observation posing as a question - wrong time, wrong place for that.

It was an observation about how many people watch DW on iplayer or recordings as opposed to the actual first showing. It was turned into a question along the lines of asking Moff, "do you realise how you have changed the viewing habits of the British public" (!) Unfortunately the question was padded out by quoting the actual viewing figures for various episodes by each particular viewing option..........

As for the episode - absolutely cracking. one of the great pre-credits scenes, excellent cliffhanger, funny scenes, poignant scenes, action scenes and excellent actiong throughout. Hope you all enjoy as much as I did.

Final point, watching the episode on a big screen highlighted the excellent BBC production values _ it looked like a Hollywood movie.

Are these screenings open to everyone? How would I go about obtaining tickets for next year?

Yes I am that keen.

It's been down all day for me (give it a few hours and i'll be rocking in a corner). I did wonder if embargo-gate might have been a factor.

Got my tickets through Ticket Web after readingabout the showing on this forum. Think it was the first open one they have did.

Matt was excellent with the kids in the audience, particularly the 6 year old in tweed jacket and bow tie (seriously)

A few hours? Ha! The first thing I did on waking up was to rush to the internet to check on if there were any new spoilers on GB and since then I've been in that corner. In fact the only reason I'm on DS is because I'm hoping some of the spoiler lot from GB have decided to post on here, but alas no such luck.

I really need my daily fix of spoilers.

Yes I've heard about that. It sounds like Matt genuinely loves the show.

It's the dark side of message boards I'm afraid , too many faceless people having their exaggerated say on matters , which can sadly turn personal very quickly. Not met you myself Ian but there does seem to be some people around envious of your history with Doctor Who and fandom. The most fierce criticism will likely come from those who suffer pure jealousy , as it is with many aspects of life I'm sorry to say.
Hope yourself and the rest of the audience enjoyed the event and could you tell us whay you thought of the episode?

I'm afraid that does sound quite dull, not sure how Doctor Who has changed the viewing habits of the British public either, it's hardly a pioneer in the field of "watching stuff after it's been on".
