In today's midweeks, Bionic is at 18, matching the "technical" record for biggest fall from #1...

Such a shame, wonder what happened to the million + British fans who bought Stripped?

Terrible shame. But I think its a sign of the times to come to be honest. Quite a few single #1's have had huge drops this year as well. So the trend has been set.

Gutted for Sia more than anything as this album was her big break.

I'm over feeling down about it though. I'm hoping and I'm sure they will take this as a big wake up call. Now things will be done differently and album five will come sooner rather than later and put her back on the map. imho. So it's all good.

That is an humiliating drop from number 1. I knew it wasn't gonna perform as well as stripped but I expected to stay in top 10 for another week.

To be fair sales wise I imagine there isn't going to be much diffference between #20 and #10, the album market is absolutely rubbish at the moment

I think like Official Diva says its becoming more the norm for big drops. This year has been one after the other. This has just been the biggest.

What she needs is a new single on radio now. The album is selling on name alone. No singles are promoting the album as Not Myself Tonight has been forgotten.

Hopefully Prima Donna will get released to radio next week.

Christina and her team need to pull their fingers out before the whole era sinks without a trace.

It's so frustrating as a fan

Maybe it will provide a wake up call. Nobody shifts sales buy doing nothing. Music doesn't sell on name alone anymore and it doesn't help that she hasn't released anything since 2006.

Aside from the die hard Xtina fans (who bought it last week) nobody else is interested.

Apart from devoted music fans like us, I doubt anyone actually knows Christina has an album out. It's ridiculous that for an artist as big as her there has been so little coverage of her new album

at the moment it's disappointing BUT when she actually promotes over here and more singles are released the album will rise up th chart again, it's sold almost 30,000 which is just us as a hard core fanbase but those who don't know of the album will buy it when they are aware of the album.

SINGLE,NOW!! we NEED an uptempo number for the Summer so; Elastic Love, Glam,Prima Donna NEED to be released and then at the end of the summer Lift Me Up and then X Factor-Bionic/I Am performance which should be theatrical and EPIC! she has so many potential #1's here and the album will sell so much more! NEVER lose faith.

This is what the problem is. imho so I as a fan I don't think it's that concerning. If it doesn't pick up once the second single comes there is a big problem but at the moment the album has nothing to sell it.

I think the performance should improve once the second single is out. But this has hopefully been the wake up call they needed.

God why is it such a concern for you people if the album doesn't sell well. can't you just enjoy and appreciate the music for what it is? I'm sure you're all fans of music that you love but doesn't sell much.

It's a shame because I think it's a good album. Hopefully when she starts promoting over here it will rise into the top ten, hopefully top 5!

There seems to be an awful lot of people who want Christina to fail so are revelling in it.

She's on a major label. If her albums don't sell, her career will be over and she won't get to make music, so her fans won't get to enjoy it.

PMSL! Christina won't ever be over. If she gets dropped another label will snap her up faster than Kerry Katona drops her knickers. She is Christina Aguilera.

This whole thing has an air of Mariah's 2001 period about it. She swapped labels and had one of her biggest selling albums in Mimi. Christina needs to break away from RCA/Sony now just like Mariah did and get herself a new label, which she can, and come back stronger than ever, which is the likely outcome. Bionic was an experiment that just didn't work but at least she tried it.

Its that kind of attitude that hasn't done her any favours. People have said it many times already that she can't expect to sell an album on name alone. So what has she done to deserve any coverage? Nothing. She released a mediocre single and video and thats it. To be honest there seems to be an air of arrogance coming from her that she thinks she doesn't even need to try. So many of her fans seem to put her on a pedestal as being one of the greatest artists alive so hopefully this will be a wake up call to Christina and her management.

Christina was in Haiti the week before the album release for 4 days doing her chairty work. While I would love promo as well I think the fact her piority wasn't 'how much money can I make' but more 'I'm going to help these kids' speaks greater volumes about the person Christina is.

There isn't many artists who would drop much needed promo to go and do unnoticed charity work.

HAHA you just owned them!

Promo would have been nice but the fact she went to do charity work with the children of Haiti makes her human not arrogrant.

I was speaking to a friend a few days ago and was telling her Christina's new album was actually good. She looked at me like i was crazy, didn't believe that she had an album out til she seen it in Tesco a few days later.

Which is a shame, although i didn't like it on first listen it has really grown on me, i love it one of the best albums of this past year imo.

It's disconcerting that this is sinking into oblivion when Cheryl sold so much and her album compared to this is pants (and i actually love every song on 3 words).
