Well England do not deserve to qualify to the next rounds. They are a disgrace to England. Wayne (Sontaran head) Rooney condemned English fans for booing them. Well, maybe as they paid hundreds of pounds of their hard earned cash to watch what was supposed to be a world class team pussy foot around like a bunch of knitting grannies, I think they had every right to boo. I booed at home. Not everyone earns £160,000 per week.

And, to think their lacklustre performances might actually mean an earlier than ideal screening of such a huge and important episode of Who is outrageous.

I think we should get all 11 regenerations lined up ready to play.

Pertwee in goal, Smith upfront and Tennant on the wing. I must admit the names and numbers on the backs of the shirts would be confusing.

That annoyed me, too, so I can only imagine how it would be if you supported England. And not only did they spend their money, they travelled halfway around the world to watch them.

Never noticed that, but he does look like a Sontaran.

Clearly Doctor Who is more important than the World Cup. Especially since it's only the group stages. The final I could understand.

The Dream Lord as manager, and the Valeyard as that guy that's brought along to the tournament and never played?

As a scot, I do not get much to cheer about in the world cup, being as we are even worse than England.

Tonite i got the odd pleasure of singing "flower of scotland" with a bunch of Algerians at full time.

We then when outside and there was some Scotland/Algerian bonding. We danced, we sang it was nice.

What is that german word for shamefull joy?

Don't forget Wilf. He'd tell the other team what's what! Put the master in goal. He wouldn't stand for anyone kicking a ball at him. Mickey Smith could be in defense and Captain Jack could just keep the other team at bay by flirting with them!

Good for you. You bonded with the better team. Algeria should have won. They were unlucky that they didn't.

They were top lads it has to be said. Credit where credits due, the England fans in the pub were also getting involved as well and taking everything in good humour but I think you have to have a good sense of humour to be an England fan in Glasgow

I've just seen the clip of Rooney having a go at the fans. What a tit.

Yes. Good word to decribe him! Perhaps he should have thought "why" they were getting booed.

For a minute there I read your last bit as "You have to have a good sense of humour to be in Glasgow" but I wouldn't be brave enough to say that to your face!

In 2004 I holidayed in the North of Scotland. Stayed at Spean Bridge but travelled as far west as Malaig and of course visited Loch Ness.

We drove through Glasgow and my brother in law was terrified of having his head smashed in as my sister insisted on having the Nolan Sisters on full blast with the window down with "I'm In The Mood For Dancing" blaring out. My Brother in law said it was the most embarrassing and scariest moment of his life! Thought I would just share that little memory with you!

It was a fantastic holiday by the way!

All the fans should have been chanting "Doctor" in pride of our show instead

I can never understand why anyone has the remotest interest in a bunch of overpaid morons running around a field kicking a lump of plastic, let alone why it should dictate what the rest of us can watch on TV. I'd banish the whole thing to the pay per view channels. Total waste of airtime.

Thats probably true.

Glasgow isn't that scary these days really, it has scary areas like most cities but its pretty tame these days thankfully, i wouldn't last five mins otherwise.

Bizarrely i've found a lot of English people seem to think anyone Glaswegian is hard as nails. I wouldn't know what to do in a fight frankly but i remember a guy in a pub in Fulham trying to start a fight with me then run a mile when he heard my accent. Which is lucky for me, because i wouldn't have had a clue what to do if he hadn't

Can you remind us when Scotland's next World Cup game is?

So, it could make a big difference to me as to what time it's on......I have to make a speech as I am giving her away. Can't really bugger off to watch DW if my speech is due!”

I managed to sneak away at my sister's wedding to watch an episode of "Destiny of the Daleks" . No other chance of catching it in those days.

The finale time won't be changed - I'm pretty sure of that.

There's still a perfectly reasonable chance that England will be playing on that Saturday night - we won't know for sure until next Wednesday and at that point it'd be too late to change without causing confusion (which no-one here would be happy about).

There aren't many things that top Who finale's as "TV Events" these days, but I'm afraid England at the WC - however badly they perform - is definately one of them. 18 million tuned in last week for the first game, after all. If there's a chance that the BBC will need the slot for football, it makes sense to keep Who away from it and offer some certainty over the start time.
