I have now been without 3G in Leyland (near Preston) for about 3 days now. I used to get full 3G signal (aka Orange 3G+) but now I can only get GPRS signal. I have tried forcing the phone to connect to 3g only, but then I lose all signal.

It's really frustrating as I have just renewed with Orange 3 weeks ago due to them having the best 3G near me. Is anyone else having the same issues as me?


Just thougjt I best also say I have tried using a different phone and that is also suffering with the same problem so I don't believe its my phone at fault. I have a HTC Desire and a Nokia N85.

Well I phoned Orange and they did a check and said they have multiple 3G sites which have gone down and they're hoping to get them up and running by tomorrow.
