I hope we do not have to wait for the sale to be finalised to get Living HD as that means next year.
Sky appear to be providing their HD channels to Virgin pretty imminently. Surely Living HD - which unlike Bravo HD etc does already exist and has for a year now - should come to Sky at the same time as Sky Sports HD, Sky 1 HD go to Virgin? |

I beg to differ about ITV1HD Anglia being paired to ITVHD1 Central. Where I live I get Anglia West on 103 and have just been moved from ITVHD1 London to ITVHD1 Meridian.

I don't know if this would be relevent here or not but with all these HD channels starting is it not time to have a sortout of their places. A though for this would be to move the radio stations up slightly to say 0300 and move the hd channels to a place that starts with 01 this would then alough the first 6 to be on the listing as bbc1hd on 0101 itv hd on 0103 sky one hd on 0106 this would result in an easier use for some people to remember where the hd equivilent channels are. I know that this is different for the sport and movie channels but it could be worked.

Looking at that schedule, it would seem that it wont be a simulcast channel, as Hallmark channel is showing The Mentalist at 9pm, where they are advertising 'CSI New York' in that timeslot on the HD channel.
Unless they change the main schedule at the last minute of course.. But if they don't, yay ![]() 7pm Without a Trace - Both SD and HD 8pm Mentalist - SD Only 9pm CSI New York - Both SD and HD 10pm Law & Order - Both SD and HD 11pm Law & Order - Both SD and HD The news on the hallmark channel does not mention Mentalist, so it could be it will be upscaled but only wanted to mention the Native HD programmes on the news page |

Hallmark HD appeared around 11 am on Channel 220 as expected.
Only had a caption on so far saying it launches later today. It does not give a time just 'today'. But the first HD programme according to the EPG is Without a Trace at 3pm. Will let you know if that actually appears or not. So far programming on channel 130 still not widescreen.Though the old shows on there may never have had W/S masters. Adverts on 130 ARE seemingly in W/S as you can see the switch back to 4:3 for programming and promos, Not sure if the ads have always been W/S on Hallmark SD before today as I always FFW! |

The new Sky magazine promotes the new series of Ghost Whisperer AND the new series of Medium - later in July - both on Living. But there is no mention of HD....so not a good sign of it being imminent. |

The one channel that I'm still missing which has some great shows on right now, all of which are native HD is Bravo, like Sparticus and Sons of Anarchy...

rumours have intensified that five HD will go live on ch171 next Tuesday 13th July 2010.
i suspect the rumours are all true listings in national magazines have programmes listed as being in HD would be nice if they would put our terrestrial HD equivalents together in the EPG for example as below ch171 - BBC1HD ch172 - BBCHD ch173 - ITV1HD ch174 - CH4 HD ch175 - five HD (Not necessarily at those numbers but you get the point) |

i suspect the rumours are all true QUOTE] They are no longer rumours, Five have announced the launch and supplied the info to Radio Times for next week that confirms it launches on Sky only on channel 171 with Neighbours, Home and Away, K Ville and Gray's Anantomy the only things in HD listed up to next Friday. |
