I hope it launches soon. As it has existed for ages on Virgin they hardly need an extended test period.

Tomorrow would be nice

They said September when it was first announced - though that would mean a very extended testing period .

Well Film 4 have also been testing on freeview on the PSB 2 MUX and are planning a Film 4 + 1 in the place that Film 4 currently is on one of the com MUXs on freeview, so maybe they are planning to coinside the two events?

Hopefully the HD channel will be replaced with something else very soon I guess this was the wrong one to get a HD slot?
Wonder what other channel it could be and FILM 4 HD has its own slot all ready.
They seem to be very few HD channels coming on this year?

Well we're certain to get BBC Three HD, BBC Four HD, CBBC HD, CBeebies HD, BBC News HD and very likely to get Channel 4 +1 HD and 4Seven HD in the next 6 months. Film4 HD is the only other upcoming HD channel that I know of, which is already operational (just not on the EPG yet):

7 Jan - RT HD
14 Jan - BBC One Scotland HD (Scotland only)
29 Jan - BBC One Wales HD (Wales only)
4 Feb - More 4 HD
26 Mar - BBC Two HD
28 Mar - Sky Movies Disney HD
9 Apr - Disney Junior HD
1 Aug - BT Sport 1 HD
1 Aug - BT Sport 2 HD

We have also gained and then lost Arise News HD and lost BBC HD, Disney Cinemagic HD and ESPN America HD.

Have I missed any out?

Coming up (Confirmed):-

Film 4 HD (September - Testing)
BBC Three HD (2014)

Well when you post such a comprehensive list I guess a lot of HD channels have launched this year just seems to have been very quiet for the past few months.

Can the thread be given back its original intention and used for just the launch of HD Channels.

I was specific in the original thread title and located the thread in the HD section for that very reason.

Can a moderator or Forum Support person fix this please.

Or can I create a new thread and have it pinned for the launch of New HD Channels.

Are you saying you want 2 threads one for SD channels and one for HD channels?
We no longer have a Sky HD forum so everything has to be done in the one place now.

New channel additions are always of interest, even if only fleetingly, whether they're available in HD or not.
One thread for all new channels on Sky makes perfect sense.

nope they didn't all launch at the same time.
NI was first due to digital switchover being completed first. the rest came later.
