iPhone to Blackberry - Mobile Internet Help

Hello, I have sold my iPhone which I got free with my Vodafone contract, I am now looking to purchase a Blackberry, however as you cannot buy Blackberrys on PAYG from Vodafone I will have to get one unlocked. When I get it unlocked and put my SIM Card I know I will be able to make calls and texts but will I be able to carry on using the mobile internet. Say for example the Blackberry is on 02 and I get it unlocked to all networks, will I be able to carry on using the mobile internet to access Facebook for example? I have been told that I will need to add BIS or BES to my contract. Could anyone clear this up please?

I'm no expert but I think you have to make sure the phone BB service hasn't been activated on another network. If it has, you need to get the network to delete it off their system, as the service operates using the device PIN (unique to each BB). f you're an individual using it for personal use, you'll be using the BIS service so you would need that on your contract too.
