T-Mobile and Orange Merger - will it improve network coverage strength?
Dissonance
19-06-2010
Hi

When T-Mobile and Orange merge networks (I was told by T-Mobile that it is to be on 1 July) will the strength of the signal improve at all? Where I live I have a poor signal on both networks (I'm currently with T-Mobile) and am just wondering if I'll get a better signal once it's done.

(I'm currently considering switching networks to one which does have a better signal here... just wondering whether it's worth it if I'll end up with a usable signal in a few weeks' time!)

They only officially merge and become a company called Everything Everywhere which will control the Orange and T-Mobile brands on 1st July. Using the two networks masts whatever network you happen to be on is coming later on. I think it is meant to be later this year.

You may get some of the information you are after from http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s....php?t=1276952

I am hoping for an improvement in the signal at home.

Maybe theres a clue in the new company name "Everything Everywhere"
Im guessing that thats their idea once things get sorted out that you will get a signal everywhere, or maybe it doesnt mean that at all
Only time will tell i suppose.
