I quite like Vanessa so far. She's not afraid to speak her mind even if it's not what people want to hear. I doubt I'd want her for a best friend but as a HM she's interesting, and has the potential to be devious and confrontational. It would be nice if she could be comically entertaining too, but I think we have enough of them in there for that.

Personally, I like her and don't think she is self-centered.

There are other housemates more self-centred and vain, and two that come to mind are Thong Man and Sherman Klump (aka Victor, albeit in a deluded and misguided way about his sexual prowess and his schlong).

She seems like a normal south african, I lived there for a few years and she has the hallmarks, lovely skin, hair etc... but will have a sharp evil toung if needed and very much in love with herself.

Sorry to generalise, but most of who I know in SA are like that, I have family there, and they are like that. They do take pride in their looks, but a bit to far. She just reminds me of some people I know.

I can't argue with you on this as I've never been to South Africa. I guess the new South Africa must be becoming a terrible place for Women like this.

I think Vanessa is either the advertised 'Liar' or 'Manipulater' Watch her closely behind those blonde locks and pearly whites I think there is a cold, calculating inner which can be selfish and callous. People like Vanessa are only able to form strong bonds with one person. That person happens to be herself.


She is the type to tempt and tease men, toy with them for a while, then cast them aside once she has had her fun, not caring at all for their feelings. She bores easily, being able to wrap a certain type of man around her little finger and play them like a puppet.
