You're absolutely correct. When someone in is in the public eye, it goes without saying that not everyone is going to like them and that they are bound to be discussed. That's the point of forums like this. Comments like the ones from Hayley posted above are just grist to the mill of those who want to bring her down . The savvy celebs know not to acknowledge the negative opinions because that kind of thing is par for the course and I think it would have reflected better on Hayley to just rise above it and concentrate on how well things are going for her now, especially after not finding much work after Emmerdale. Those who accuse her of playing the victim would have a field day with comments like that and I hope she has the strength and support not to let it get to her

I agree that it isn't professional or wise to post what Hayley did on twitter about fourms such as this one.

Sadly as much negative as postive posts are made on these places and savvy celebs learn not to comment on them - Hayley leaves herself wide open to comments from the press or yet more negative stuff on fourms etc

Hayley is only human and negative stuff, particularly at this time is bound to upset her. She had to put up with fake accounts being nasty about her, I won't name them but you know the ones I'm referring to She's had horrible tweets from idiots saying they hope she falls and then when she did tweeting back saying she didn't hurt herself enough and wished she had died. My observation on the tweet you are referring to is directed at the people that are nice to her on Twitter to try and get info out of her regarding Dan, showering her with gifts, following her etc etc and then being nasty on here. That is of course my understanding standing of it and I may be wrong, I don't wish to speak for Hayley. She's capable of that herself. I say good on her, at least it's come from her mouth and not some fake account she's set up

Anyway back on topic, for anyone who is interested there is a lovely interview with Hayley in this weeks New Magazine. Very dignified and she doesn't once slag off her ex. When asked the question Did he think something was going on between you two (meaning Dan) she reply "No, definitely not. Darren and Dan get on well, but I can imagine how I would feel if he was spending every waking moment with another woman".

Have a read, but then again maybe not, as I'm sure people will find fault with it and us it as another stick to beat her with!!

I really don't understand why Haley's boyfriend would be bothered about her spending "every waking moment" with Dan, Dan is Gay so he's not likey to pose a threat to their relationship. Maybe the relationship was on the rocks before she started DOI. A strong relationship should be able to withstand times of them being apart and working closely with other people!

The 'West End musical' rumour she started, is strange, as I was told someone connected to DOI started rehearsals for Chicago last week when we know that Hayley is still touring the provinces in Hamalot.

Winning DOI isn't a ticket to the West End - I think that was really just wishful thinking on Hayley's part. After all, she did spend three years without a professional role after leaving Emmerdale, even with the raised profile she had back then. The Hamalot role isn't the glittering continuation of her career many had hoped it would be.

That so called west end offer was another of her little digs at someone else she wanted to undermine. There's so much more to all this but not able so go into it but I do know my judgment was right.
I just feel sorry for all the people she's hurt along the way they didn't deserve the treatment they got.

The Dandy was referring to the comments made by Hayley hinting on a Chicago role possibly with Dan and as the cast is about to go through some changes and she is def not rehearsing but on holiday she is def not going in the West End show at this time

Yeah she got a prestigious whatsonstage best takeover nomination for her role as roxie n apparently got offered it again but there was a schedule clash n she opted to do the 2009 doi tour instead as she was 2008 champ n they were short of girls. It's not her this time though, she's in Emmerdale for at least a year. Although Chicago will probably try for her whenever she might be available again cos she got rave reviews...
Doubt it's Hayley going for Chicago, she's in Spamalot isn't she? Also I'm not sure if she's ever been on the West End itself before, although she might have been with fame maybe, I know she was in Rocky Horror but Suzanne was the actress for both West End stints of that. They usually only take someone with quite a bit of west end experience for Roxie or Velma like Suzanne and Bonnie. Sometimes they take celebs for other parts but I'm not convinced about Dan getting one. Id say it would be even tougher at the moment as everyone and anyone is going for auditions. I'd imagine it might be Bonnie or Duncan...

The main 3 characters in Chicago are to remain through this current cast change and remain until August, the part of mama is to change and it is someone from Blackpool taking over the part, the part of Mary Sunshine is changing but is yet to be revealed, also as always some of the ensemble will be replaced.

Well Hayley is not suited to either Mama or Mary Sunshine. She could go in as ensemble to keep her ticking over but I doubt it and I think she's in Spamalot for awhile yet n she'd had began rehearsals by now for any part anyway...

It's a guy from Blackpool I was on about doing it Simon Green who is better known as Betty Legs Diamond who used to be the main star in Funny Girls in Blackpool.

There is meant to be a cast change tomorrow but some of the leads have extended their contracts until August.
