Yes, they're all different The reason the totals don't exactly match is because some people could only narrow it down to 2 guys or 2 girls, so some people ended up voting for 3 people in total. It makes no difference to the results actually, Flavia and Brian are still well in front.

I think the results so far are quite telling...

I'm not sure they're really all that telling. For example I think A&E do have more of a following than you'd think going on DS. I get the impression that their hard core fans do not post on here because the forum is perceived as being quite hostile to Anton in particular.

Conversely there are other pros where, if you're a fan, DS is a natural place for you to post because that hostility is not there, and there are active ATs (and by active I mean, posted on very regularly by a handful of posters, not overwhelmed by an enormous number of fans). I'm not convinced Brian in particular is so very popular with the SCD audience as a whole.

Then you get people who are everyone's second favourite... I suspect if those opinions were added in, someone like Ian could easily overtake Brian. He doesn't have a slavish fan following on DS, but he is probably one of the most respected male pros. I would imagine James would also get boosted up the list if we were looking at second or third favourites too.

Shame it's only one male and one female.
I love both Matthew and Ian hard to choose as for female's it has to be Erin.

I can certainly see where you are coming from with the second favourite. If we were scoring the pros in order of preference, I suspect it would be the pro who came second the most often who would have the most points.

I know the number of voters wasn't high, but this thread does shed some light on how some people felt about the pros at the end of the last series.
