Rihanna - Umbrella
1republic - Apologise
Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love

These are the only 3 I see being regarded in the future as modern day classics.

Lots of songs that weren't hits went on to become classics.
And it got to 22 in America and is incredibly well known. You ask most people if they have heard it and they will have done.

I think it will be a classic. American Idiot and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams too. In fact, you could probably include WMUWSE.

I think 21 Guns will be a bit like Killers' All These Things That I've Done. Didn't chart particularly high but is arguably already a classic.

Tik ToK might be trashy, but didn't it break a record in the US for biggest selling download by a female artist or something? It was #1 over there for a while, has sold over 400K here in the UK and went to the top three in practically every single country it was released in. Also the Simpsons using it and various artists covering it for parody purposes should pretty much solidify it's popularity.

So it'll be remembered and praised in say 10 years time?

I think not.
