O2 broadband + home phone
Just had my O2 b/b and home phone activated today. Managed to disconnect the wireless rourter beofre it was propely set up, d'oh, but a free call to the O2 helpline, followed by a 5 minute chat with an English speaking person based in England and all up and running
![]() Goodbye Virginn bb and BT landline. Better service and cheaper monthly cost, love it. |

![]() Goodbye Virginn bb and BT landline. Better service and cheaper monthly cost, love it. The point you make about the UK support is very true. I recently called BT (the B stands for British ) to see if they could match the O2 Home phone deals and to also sort out being slightly overcharged by BT. I got through to a UK sales guy and he could also see I had been overcharged by around £2 but he had to put me through to India to sort it out ![]() Put through to Indian guy who could not or would not see that I had been overcharged for no apparent reason so went back to English guy who offered me 3 months discount to sign up with BT for another 12 months but could not sort out the overcharging issue. Bye bye BT and hello O2 home phone and the nice UK O2 man gave me another 3 months free on my O2 BB. That's the second 3 months free I have had in the last 12 months off O2
