A bluray delivering pictures to a display that's not 24p compliant afaik outputs at 60fps using pulldown and interlaced, which means they work with any HD-Ready display. Bluray is a universal format not UK PAL or US NTSC. Apart from regional codeing restrictions the discs are identical across the world. Pretty well any HD TV can use 25, 29.97, 50 and 60 fps but many won't cope with progressive pictures.
