and Jon Pertwee went into Tom Baker outside next to the Tardis as well.... on a bench too.....

I would love to know what the connection is! It's been a few years in the waiting. Pond and River; perhaps a water connection? I'm guessing also that RTD had a plan for the link but SM has done something different.

If river was the astronuaght (young or old) perhaps the Doctor told her his name THEN, as he was about to die and he knew it..........

Oh ok, I never knew SM created River.

But I'd still guess the water link is connected.

River is the unborn child of AMY (since one of the tv mags spoiled amys pregnancy saying its father is in dispute)

I'm assuming then that the father dispute means that the Doctor is a candidate? Surely kissing your sister/daughter is still frowned upon by Timelords?!


I still think that it's the obvious answer and that River's probably just the Doctor's "wife" or something.
