Suffered a 60 second delay on the remote control yet again today.

What did they fix precisely?

When did you suffer the 60 second delay? ie was it at initial start up or had it been on for a while?

After it had been on for some time

On the similar 9300 with the latest software I've had a couple of delays after it had been on for some period. At thoses times I was recording something on both tuners. Is that similar with you? Were you recording something when the delays happened?

On this occasion I can't remember.

This is not a new bug, the old version suffered it but as it had been reported that the new software fixed the remote "delay" problem that was what I was expecting. Usually the delays are of 5-10 seconds but on occasions, much longer.

When I have suffered it in the past it has been to stop playback so if it doesn't clear in 10 seconds I have to go and do a hard reset. This means that I cannot determine if it is a hang up or a very long delay. This time I was only displaying the program guide so I just waited.

The only delays I have suffered with my 9300 are the times when I'm assuming it's reading or writing the EPG to the HDD, quite understandable really.

I've not used it in anger since the update though so I don't know whether it works properly with scheduled recordings or series link yet.

There's nothing on at the moment worth recording IMO

For what it's worth, I too am experiencing similar problems. I can live with it as it's infrequent, but every now and then my 9150T will freeze for a while, usually when changing channel. It is annoying though as it takes so long to clear. Upgrading from 1.00.18 to 1.00.23 hasn't fixed it for me either.

How long does the freeze last? Have you reported this to Humax?

After the patronising response that I got last time I did this, I don't waste my time bothering any more.

I would urge you to make the effort. It sounds to me as though there may be a problem that affects the 9150 but not the other models and if people do not report it then nothing will be done about it.

I know that the defect is with the 9300T.

If Humax had a record of fixing the, minor inconvenience, bugs then I would agree with yiou.

But they don't. They fix the showstoppers and the rest remain unfixed, even when they bring out a completely new model.
