Digital Camera Advice
Hello,
I am looking to buy a digital camera. Got a budget of around £200. It must be good at general shots etc and be easy to use. But I also want it to be good at taking close ups of greeting cards and wedding stationery for a side business. These would be taken against a white or blue back ground. I have been recomended the panasonic TZ7 and other good suggestions etc? Thank you in advance |

I would have thought you'd be better off using a scanner for your stationary and greetings cards, unless you want to photograph them in a 'real world' situation - but it sounds like you are using plain backgrounds.
Anyhow, if you do want to use a camera, just check out any camera that has a decent macro setting on it. Not sure if the Panasonic has good macro - has a great zoom but not what you want for your greetings cards! |

TZ7 is a extended zoom camera- I'm not sure you have need of that do you? I'd go for a canon Ixus if its your first digi camera- great pictures, and has a macro mode allowing you to take shots up close.
