Denstone looks rather spiffing - Katherine ("Kitten") Pinder was doing her A-levels here two years AFTER allegedly being "pimped out" as a 16-year-old on the streets in London. Although Friends Reunited has her down as being at schools in Beverley and Cottingham, near Hull when she was 16. After Denstone, Kat went to the University of Hull, staying in a house bought for her by her parents, and eventually taking the post of LGB (Lesbian - Gay - Bisexual) officer for the Hull branch of NUS.

The Mirror article ("Kit-napped") erroneously attempts to paste in Kitten's stories of being an ex-prostitute at this juncture - in the paragraph "They also bought her a house while she was studying in Hull. But Kitten ended up homeless in London and was exploited by a pimp for sex." - however, as Kitten was still at Hull as recently as 2003 (see this report and search for Kat Pinder) that doesn't tie in with it being when she was 16 (8 years ago).

If she has lied about this, I hope she dies of shame. It makes a mockery of every poor bastard that has every really found themselves in that position. It's disgusting that someone should contrive a story like that either for attention or as a means to justify any of her behaviour.

I really have no sympathy for middle-class rebels who bemoan the fact that they were 'bought-off' all of their lives and weren't given enough attention.

Is this actually somehow worse than all the poor sods who's upbringing consisted of being dumped in front of a televsion - without the monetary trappings afforded by the middle-classes - or those that actually go 'without' for one reaon or another and still don't get attention at home?

Suspect Kitten's claim last night to Victor of giving her "first BJ for a packet of fags at the age of 13" was deliberately stolen from the real life tragedy of serial killer Aileen Wournous. Well documented in several biogs on Wournous is the teenage prostituting for a packet of fags scenario. As soon as Kitten said that last night - any shred of belief I had in her story of her past evaportated.

Just a thought, Daniel comes from Hull. Do you think that he and Kitten might have discussed Hull at some point if she had gone to one of the colleges there? There are two 6th form colleges in Hull - Wyke and Wilberforce. These can be checked out.

I just knew I'd heard it all before. She should have stuck to a more obscure storyline.

But you can be studying at college and decide one day you're going to London for a few weeks/months and walk out of college, then go back. That doesn't prove a thing for me. She could have quite easily quit college for a little while and gotten into a whole world of trouble during that period.

It can all be proved either way, and then she will look even more of an idiot in her eviction interview when confronted!!

Well it happens even now. A friend was approached recently by a teenager outside a shop who offered that very thing and she was on the wrong side of 16.

I can't see why Kitten would make up something like that, it serves her no purpose and would have generated her the wrong coverage even if she did plan it.

Knew I had heard the story about Kittens childhood sexual experience before. She is an avid television watcher, particularly Eastenders. Her Dom Joly Blah routine at the talent show is another element she has stolen for her act. There will probably be many more to come. She wants a huge fanclub and Endemol are all too willing to oblige.

So because she said that it means she must have spent 365 days in London sleeping with men to keep the person she was staying with happy? People can have worst years of their life for a number of reasons, that doesn't mean to say that was the only issue in hers at that point.

She could not classify herself as homeless though, her parents bought her a house. It's like saying the Blair chidren have been brought up in abject poverty.

Well sure, even if her parents offered her a house, life isn't that simple. She might hate her parents. She might not even be speaking to them anymore. Her feelings towards them may have made it impossible for her to accept their offer. Maybe her parents included conditions, like "go to college" or such. We don't know enough about this girl to shoot down her stories so soon. Sometimes life isn't all that simple, thats all.

I was approached 30 years ago (Piccadilly Circus)while waiting for a friend at 8 in the morning to go for coffee before college. I soon told him where to go. I had also suffered years of exposures on the London Underground whilst dressed in full school uniform (Convent).
