I love these two. Most genuine friendship this year imo.

Shabby is so wrong about their relationship. Yes, Mario fancies Ben but that doesn't mean that all the other feelings he has for him are invalid. Mario likes to spend time with Ben because he finds his conversation interesting, they have a similar sense of humour and he thinks he is an all round decent guy. He's not just hanging out with him in the hope of having sex with him as Shabby said; he's hanging out with him because he is his best friend in the house and beacuse they click. Same goes for Ben. Ben isn't leading Mario on as some kind of manipulative way of keeping him onside he's closest to Mario because he can see that Mario is kind, genuine, hugely loyal and as Ben puts it "there's not one thing about you people wouldn't like".
Their relationship isn't seedy and manipulative as other housemates have suggested. It's genuine and sweet. They are good for each other. Mario is very wise and observant and gives Ben good advise, tries to keep him out of trouble and stands by him even when the whole house is against him. Ben in return provides Mario with much needed affection, comforts him when he's down and treasures him and his friendship.

Pleased that Sunshine hugged Ben last night good on her. Ben and Sunshine are talking this morning so lets hope all is well for them. They have mutual friends outside the house too so that is a conhesive factior too.

I really think Ben might have given up and walked if it wasn't for his friendship with Mario. And they are a great comfort and support to each other - thye genuine bond they have makes them stronger and more able to cope. I don't believe the other hms "friendships" can compare - they are more about alliances and avoiding noms.
Mario could easily have got in with Shabby's group if he'd been more interested in staying in at all costs and avoiding noms but to his great credit he has knowingly put himself in the firing line for Ben.
That's true friendship.

I think this is so sweet
Their bond is so much more interesting than the Shabby/Caiome rubbish we've been force-fed.
On the subject of aliens I keep an open mind because when you see the billions of other stars out there it's quite hard to think that not one has a planet with life on it. There has to be one or two surely, even if it's very primitive?
Hi Ben fans just a Sunshine fan coming on to say thank you to Ben he is a gem. While all the others where laughing at Sunshine he bless him said Sunshine you look wonderful, you look like Barbara Striesand bless him and that is to me a compliment. Hugs to all of you and a special one to Ben.
Still loving these two I don't think Ben intended to be nasty about Mario Also i have noticed that they have been spending much less time togther and seem to be gravitating to diffrent groups.I hope they remain friends in the house because i think they are great together

I think they are very sensible not to just spend all their time with each other as that would just isolate them from the other hms and make them vulnerable come noms time.
Mario has always socialised with just about everyone in there and I think Ben is learning from his good example.
