No lol - I do not think that Mario has stopped liking Ben, I think he was just majorly cheesed off with him, when he said that to Josie. I like watching these two , they are chalk and cheese but they are sweet together.

I just wanted to pop in here as I was wondering if I was the only one to miss seeing Ben and Mario together so much. I found their conversations when together (on live feed particularly) could be interesting and their friendship is sweet and funny. I only see the live feed that makes the telly, but they're never near each other on there. I hope they'll stay friends in the house. Ben is my favourite housemate, and I love Mario too, but I do get a bit bored of Ben and Dave's permahug at times, and Mario being now always with Ife. Ah well though.

PS, if the thread were to have a joke title, of course it ought to be Mariben (get it... uhh... yeah erk!!)

It's is a shame that they've been having little tiffs recently, but Mario was really sweet to Ben today on the live feed when everyone else was getting on his back for being 'selfish'. They were in the nest and Ben looked on the verge of tears, and Mario was just talking him out of it. It was really nice

And once again today there was nice Mario and Ben-ness. I like them together still. It certainly aint perfect, but I still love it when they get on .

Awww, I hope Ben's words there could be true and that what happened since then wasn't too much for that.

Also, I'm going to bring this here too because it's the first time I've heard Mario say much at all even in mention of Ben since he's left. A bit ago on live feed he and Jo were talking about the people who have left and how it's affected them. Mario said:

Yeah, I think Mario was a much better housemate when Ben was in there, he seemed to energise him, even if it was in a bad way towards the end.

Because I'm loyal, I still want Mario to win, even though he's faded away a bit in there. Or the Pepperpot.

A couple of days ago on the LF Mario and Jo were discussing Ben, I can't remember exactly what was said but Mario was jokily saying something about how he was in a very vulnerable emotional state during the first few weeks in the house, and Ben took advantage of him. He really didn't sound like he believed what he was saying though. Anyway, at the end he added in a much more serious tone:

"...I still love him though."

*cry* Yay. I think Dave and John James have behaved far worse towards Mario than Ben ever did, so he probably treasures him a bit more now.

I hope they talk when Mario leaves the house. And pretty please can we put a sneaky camera somewhere so we can be privy to it too!

You can only hurt the people you care about, and it's only they who can really hurt you. Mario and Ben have definitely had their tough times, but to me their friendship has been the most emotionally connected relationship in the house, and tonight it was lovely to see the genuine friendship and affection there and everything else put aside.

That reunion moment was probably the most "aww" moment of the series for me. Loved how Ben immediately dismissed Mario's apology, saying that he wasn't like that (wasn't going to hold a grudge).

It was lovely to watch. I've got the video on the website on replay!

Loved these two together from day one, why did bb insist on shoving that showmance down our throats when Ben and Mario were by far more interesting?? i loved their relationship a classic love/hate but today was just awwwwwww so lovely i missed them together, now Mario in the final i did want Ben there unfortunately cant be so lets get Mario there, GET DAVE OUT PLEASE, SAVE MARIO.

Well we may not have seen enough of it, but at least they set Mario almost literally knocking Ben off his feet to Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet love theme - perfection . As if in itself it didn't make you smile enough. I actually had little butterflies awaiting their reunion and seeing Ben again.

i have just watched channel4 plus 1, to see it again i loved that with the music and slow motion how they hugged and kissed(shame cheeks) it was gorgeous, love them both. please keep Mario tomorrow, we cant have that monk staying and mario going!!!

I know, me too! I didn't mind so much about Mario and Ben's reunion taking up not too much time in the show (though I felt a bit sorry for Mario as I think it would have been very positive to show him happy and in his mole suit to boot as when he first went in. And goodness knows the show needed some fun and joy in it tonight!!!), but I really wish they would have shown their goodbye. Ho hum!

Hello Bennites, it was delightful to see Ben, so sad they didnt give more, I really think Mario still fancies Ben, they were great together. I wish he could in All Strars.
