On a brighter note, Ben and Mario's ATs are as popular as the JJJ thread today. They are the 4 housemates that resonated the most with DS forum this year, no mean feat. Well done to all Ben and Mario supporters.

This will be my last word on this thread as its really for fans of both, of which I am not, Mario did plenty of bitching about Ben, he was the first with his charachter assination of Ben with Ife which went on for the whole of one evening, Mario is the pathetic one, Ben can see things for what they were and move on, he is both gracious and refined in his outlook on the situation, I hardly care wether they stay friends or not, Ben is far better off without Mario in his life, he seems to have a wide circle of great friends who love and appreciate him, Mario certainly does not tell things to peoples faces, he never told Josie or John James what he really thought about them, just kept nomming them until he had to be open about it during nasty noms, then we saw what a weasly coward he truly was.
Anyhows I wont be joining this thread any longer as I have never been a Mario fan, the only great shame I feel is that I actually gave Mario 5 votes to win because Mario fans were begging Ben supporters to help him beat Dave, thats my biggest regret.

This is why it's a bad idea to do joint appreciation threads.

I think that the Ben fans refering to him as Lord Ben whilst refering to Mario as his manservant says a lot about the sort of relationship they envisaged for them. Mario was meant to come out and worship at Lord Ben's feet and guess what....he didn't.

Now we have all this shock horror from the Ben fans that Mario does not know his place and should be grateful that Lord Ben has deigned to say something nice about him. It's a joke it really is. Mario is as worthy of respect as Ben is .

Ben was a better HM than Mario, maybe Mario is the nicer person but they did both bitch about each other.

With what we were left with I wanted Mario to win but we all know the 5 favourites (and should have been the finalists) were Josie, Corin, JJ1, Ben & Sam.

I disagree. Watching Ben bitch and moan from morning 'til night made him downright boring. The only friend he had in there was Dave. His humour was at the expense of others. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did..no one had a good word to say about him including his best friend Dave and he never had a good word to say about anyone else. Of course they weren't his kind of people so why should any of them want anything to do with him now.

im all for this despise the man and i blame him for the breakdown, he loved it when they fell out in the house, that meant more time to have Ben to himself in the hut and for him to spread his fat legs so Ben could lie on his crotch is it true he has said he does not like Mario since he came out the house?? i despise him even more if so!!
