Also 3's offer comes with double the data of Orange / O2, more minutes and texts for your money. Price comparison for all networks |

If these prices are real then it's really good isn't it?

Yes, but the other networks are 24 months for a reasonable monthly price. If you are going to get a new iphone you're going to keep it for 2 years I think.

While ordinarily the idea of a 24 month contract isn't a good one, it does work well with the iPhone release cycle.

bit strange on the 3gs, you look at the the prices for both the 8gb version, and the 32gb version, and it is exactly the same, even down to how much you pay for the phone up front, who is going to pay £35 per month for a 6gb phone, when you can pay £35 a month for a 32gb phone

The day i have to sign a 2 year contract is the day i get rid of my mobile phone
24 months will be the norm in a few years. |

There's too much choice! I can't decide whether to go for the £35 Tesco contract with a 16GB phone for 12 months, or the 24 month £30 three with a 32B phone

I've seen some info stating July, a friend works at 3 and he told me all the retention deals were already up on the systems but failed to go into any detail.

Wow free handset on a 24month contract at £45ppm. Best I have seen beats my Orange 3GS deal plus Orange is 750Mb fair usage.

£129 for £25 a month seems OK if your well into phones and don't plane on upgrading for 2 years.

Much cheaper total cost of ownership, too. |

I think Tesco's 12 month contract fits the iPhone's 12 month release cycle more than Three's 24 month contract does...
