Two tribes plus three floaters

Just four days in, and they've settled into two tribes:

The Arf-Arfs: Marco, Stuart, Nadia, Emma, and Michelle
The Blondes: Shell, Vanessa, Jason, Dan

And then there are the three Floaters: Victor (who goes where the girls are; any girls), Kitten, and Ahmed who doesn't fit in anywhere.

It will be interesting to see whether they all nominate outside their own tribes and whether it will be the three floaters who haven't bonded with anyone in particular and therefore have no strong alliances, who will be the main targets of the nominations.

Victor is a floater!

I couldn't have put it better myself ..

yea that sounds about right and i do think when it comes down to it it'll be those who arent "with" them who will come under their nominations, victor needs to align himself pretty soon but we'll see on friday

Victor is a one man army...he doesnt need anyone else...the public will keep him in...

the psychology aspect of the show is probably what interests me most so I love all the talk of tribes and outsiders etc etc. But i haven't watched enuf of the show yet to have observed any of this first hand. I like the idea of the house being split in two though.

Can anyone tell me which HMs DIDNT go into the diary room as the Big Sister collective?

Did Vanessa go in?

Get rid of the public voting

Bring some stucture to the house in the form of wekly HoH/Veto/Luxury/Food competitions.

Plough them with alcohol every other day

Sit back and watch the fireworks

Coljj...then that means the most evil housemates will be in the final...just look who won big brother usa...

They all went in as part of the Big Sister thing.

I'm hoping as the days go on though, more of them will get bored of that.

Mr Blonde it dont always work out like that. My favorite in season 2 came through after being in a Tickle like situation where he was left 6 vs. 1. He sat back and let them go for eachother. Season 3 the nicest hm made top 3, the winner was an alright enough girl.

Last year my fav, David, went out really early. The difference was i gritted my teeth as his fate was decided. When Tickle got done by unfair means i stopped watching. I would have been happy to see Jack or Erika win but you cant have it your way all the time.

The head of household thing makes or breaks the show though...if a boring group wins every week then the interesting ones get voted off...like last year when jee and david were voted off...its more risky than a public vote...jade goody and jon tickle would have gone in the first week if it was left down to the housemates...

NO NO NO NO NO - because THAT's not what Big Brother is about. The US Big Brother ISN'T Big Brother and that's all there is to it. I'm sure people from every country in the world that have Big Brother APART from the Americans, would agree with me there.

But we don't have any evil housemates, at least not so far. A couple of prime twts, yes, but nobody seems evil. We can but hope...

That's why these lot are fantastic. None of them are 'evil', but all have a bit of a bitchy side to them. They're likeable cos they're not perfect, but aren't horrendous.

I LOVE this bunch of housemates so much!!!

Kitten is the spawn of satan...she has come from the fiery depths of hell to inflict as much irritation on the general public as possible...

I'm supporting The Arf-Arfs, as they seem to be enjoying themselves and making the most of the experience, unlike The Blondes who seem to be very boring i.e. Vanessa and Shell who go to bed before everyone else!

But neither is the Big Brother we have now. Sure maybe it was in the first and to an extent the 2nd year but since then forget about it.

I was watching the other night, Michelle i think it was who was specualting on tabloid news stories. They never went into the house in the first or 2nd year thinking like that. You wont see the US houseguests dreaming of fame was they get out of the house. That is because going on their BB isn't a ticket to the celebrity lifestyle. They are probably happy to be asked for a picture or autograph now and then.

Mr Blonde, which were/are the boring group?

In Jade's case it was down to the housemates Lynne went and Jade stayed.

The game itself is almost exactly the same. If there are ANY deviations from the original rules that were stated in series 1, they are still referred to as a 'twist'. Therefore, I'd say our programme is still the same, fundamentally, as it was in Series 1.

In big brother usa the boring group were alison..jun..erika..jack..and the guy with the curly hair...in big brother 5 uk they are kitten..emma..shell..daniel and vanessa...

Im not talking about rules Cwej, im talking about hm mindsets once they have been picked to go into the house. How they now react in certain situations based on how they think the public will react to them.

Michelle and Stewart are talking about tabloids again. FFS this is what i mean.

How about they just **** so we can guarentee FRONT PAGE coverage hey?

Compare it to the sex in BBUSA last year. The rest of the house didn't even find out about it until the show was at the end because David chose to keep it to himself while Amanda was voted off the next day. The producers barely scratched the surface of what happened and didn't dwell on it.

I think evil in Big Brother tends to equal more older, powerful male figure.

Nick and Stuartbb2 were both classic BB baddies. Such a shame Stuart had to leave quite early on. And Johnny was obviously very unpopular here. Last year Cameron was almost turned into a similar sort of baddie figure.
There isn't anyone in bb5 who could fit that mould. Ahmed's too quiet.

The post I originally replied to was you suggesting they get rid of public voting. That IS about changing the rules.

That is what I was saying no to... so that was what our conversation was about I thought...

I would side with the "floaters" if I had to choose.
