DVD recorders won't read RAM disks

I have two Panasonic DVD recorders ES30 and a EX77 they have both been back for repair, one once and the other one twice, all with the same fault, that is after so long they will not read, or play RAM disks.

I have tried ringing PANASONIC HELP LINE and they say take them to a dealer, which I did and am now getting fed up with.

I am using Panasonic Ram Disks both old and brand new. The problem appears often when I format the disk when I no longer require what is on it. However, I would have thought I should still be able to use brand new disks. The problem was and still, is neither DVD recorder will read Ram disks.

You shouldn't format ram discs, just erase the watched programs then record new. Basicly they're just the same as a hard drive, I don't know your machines but on mine you can just press delete at the end of the program and a panal comes up confirming the operation then it's done.
