It's hard to pick just ten when Adric was in a total of eleven stories.

Putting that aside, I disagree with your assessment of Paradise Towers. The bit where the Doctor learns the Kang greeting elevates it above at least ten stories.

But Adric was in Earthshock which was good take that one out lol.

However, I'd still rather watch any of the last three than about two thirds of nu-Who. The writers of Sylvester McCoy's first two seasons and of The Dominators are to be commended for doing the impossible and creating scripts worse than those of RTD at his most excessive. In particular, writer Stephen Wyatt wins the award for the most ironically titled script for 'The Greatest Show in the Galaxy', surely one of the worst shows in the universe!

Longwinded six-parters are always thankless, so that accounts for the terrible Colony in Space, and for The terrible Armageddon Factor, The terrible Time Monster and The terrible Invasion of Time.

The Greatest Show in the Galaxy has real moments of greatness, I think, and Ian Reddington gives one of the scariest baddie performances the show has ever seen. Colony in Space has some people having a shootout in a room no more than ten feet square, hiding behind filing cabinets.

Sorry but are you sure that these are not your ten best. I would have put at least four of those in my short list for the top ten with some of the others being in my top 50.

I don't agree with a lot of the stories suggested (Terror of the Vervoids, Delta and the Bannermen, The Gunfighters), I can see why others may not like them.
