Does anyone know how long it will be until Tesco/O2/Phones 4 U/Carphone Warehouse will take to offer the iPhone 4 on PAYG?

I asked from anyone else except Apple.... as they have a 3 week shipping date.

Can't see the networks making PAYG available until they have dealt with the demand from their contract customers.

Apple stores may be worth a try as presumably they will be getting some more stock in retail before the 3 week shipping. Could also try ebay but think they are priced above their RRP on ebay due to the shortages and you leave yourself wide open to the usual scams on ebay

id personally go to apple as its sim free and only £20 more than what theyll be on the networks

I got a £15 rebate from Apple online so am only paying £5 more as O2 PAYG is not due till October. I will do the 30 day simplicity until October when I will switch to the £10 a month PAYG which suits me as I am not doing many calls at the moment.

The good thing about £10 PAYG is you are not paying for call time you don't use. Picture messages also come out of the £10 but are going to be charged extra on most new tariffs. so you could be paying a £40 pm tariff with loads of text & calls but still have to stump up for picture messages.
