Iphone 4 Camera test.

I was doing some research on the camera quality of the new Iphone 4 & came across an indepth review which makes it look really good. But then it is bound to be better quality than my 3GS lol.

Despite the apparant signal issues when holding the phone tightly which I don't think that would happen to me as my 3GS is in a case with the rubber bumpers, so have gotten use to holding it a different way.

I may give Orange a call next week & see about bagging myself 1 .

I took loads of photos with mine while camping at the weekend, when I downloaded them I was astonished at the quality. So I am really quite pleased now. Also left house at 10 in the morning on Saturday with a full charge went all through the night and when I got home at 4 it still had 20% battery and I had used it heavily.

Yeah I must admit, the camera is excellent - coupled with the amazing screen, it really stands out. I am also surprised how good the LED flash is. Much better than the 3G ever offered.

suprised at the choice of handsets to test against ... none of them have ever been considered to be "good" cameraphones.

Me too ... but then its a very US-centric test, and they've never tended to have much in the way of decent cameras on them.

I'd like to see a few decent comparisons against a range of phones - Nokias N82 would quite possibly whup the iPhone 4 in low light imaging, purely down to having a proper flash. Its quite probable that the iPhone 4 will better the N95/N82 overall though. Not bad going for a 4 year old design.

N86 - would be a very interesting comparison, as would the Satio.

But the one I'm waiting for is against the N8 - that could well be the imaging mobile of choice.
