“Nope, it's called the universe this show exists in. As long as the show sticks to the rules of its own universe then it's fair game. The whole idea of existence explained here is actually a discussed notion of metaphysics.”
Errr..... It doesn't stick to the 'rules' of the Whoniverse, that's the problem. Moffat, like RTD, changes the 'rules' whenever he wants to. So you can't use that defence. As for metaphysics... yes, well. A lot of that doesn't make sense either.

“You say this episode/series made no sense. That it was incoherent. Well, clearly, for a great many people it wasn't. For some reason you didn't get it but that is more an issue with your interpretation than the writing. It's very pleasing to see this complexity of writing and a non-linear story on TV”
That's because a lot of people don't think. As long as there some emotion and some running about and some big bangs, some people will accept any old crap.
I read a lot of sci-fi. I can recognise sci-fi themes. And I can also recognise when someone is bending them out of all recognition just because it helps their plot.
And yes, I know I'm in a small, very small, minority on this one. And I don't really care. You like it, good for you. I don't.
Can we stop now please? It's really not the end of the world just because someone didn't like one series of Doctor Who.....
