I guess he's making a new album or on hiatus, so a lack of exposure at the minute... and the fact that he isn't really a massive star anyway

Everyone realised he's actually talentless and just good looking, hence his demise.

No I disagree, he's got a great singing voice actually.

^Does he? I said talent. A lot of people who are in the business can sing but have no other musical talents really.

He's gone the same way that they all eventually do. I think the only real exceptions have been Girls Aloud and Leona Lewis.

The same thing will happen to Joe Mceldery (sp?).

He's been recording an album for ages but Simon cowell did something stupid and delayed it there's a lot of confusion at the moment

he seems to have been royally shafted by the management.

both his albums went platinum, and his last 2 songs went to no2 and no6 respectively...a decent showing.

yet he's been completely swept under the carpet, and this album seems to be eternally delayed.

they've left his return so long that he will have to go out and promote it almost as if he was an unknown debut act, and will find it hard to get airplay etc

I maybe an Atheist but I swear if the above happens then I will happily scream out the words "There Is A God" .

I am religious and fortunately, there is a God and it will NOT happen. "Keep the faith, Keep your faith"

I've lived here for almost two years and apart from talk on forums I have no idea who this guy is, what he looks like, what his songs sound like.

He may as well be a debut artist as RooftopCowboy indicated

His last single was Breathless http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUCGwiuV1x8

not amazing, but at the same time as good as the other 'R&B Lite' ballads we have in the charts.

Cowell has a short attention span, he focuses on his new toys and neglects the old.

Only exception to that has been his beloved Leona, and probably will continue to be the only exception...because you know, she's amayyyyyzing.

I like Ward. His second album era in particular. Would be nice if he came back eventually.

I wonder how artists who disappear for a couple years like like Shayne Ward still make money? Something I've always wanted to know.

Sounds like Shayne Ward needs to sack his management, I'm not even a fan but he's being treated very unfairly by his current team.

Why is Cowell allowed, time and time again to leave his artistes out to hang dry?

Michelle McManus
that other scottish fella who I forget
gareth gates
the guy who ended up singing in pubs
shayne ward
joe mceldery.

He is only interested in the tv ratings.

Wasn't Shayne even Louis's priority, not simon's.
I thought Louis's managed him.

He was sold as the UK answer to Justin Timberlake which was a ludicrous comparison. Problem is, his win was almost certainly due to teeny texters thinking he 'iz well fit innit' and they've long since moved on to the next pretty boy

Joe, like all X-Factor winners, will release something when the live shows of the X-Factor starts. So he hasn't been left to dry just yet.
