The TARDIS exploded because the person that said "silence will fall" took over it and MADE it explode.
We will find out in Series 6.
We will PROBABLY find out in Series 6. But I'm guessing what the other guy said is right...she belongs with the doctor. Also, she could have travelled easily.
EDIT: Watch confidential. Moffat explains that River came to the church to remind Amy to remember the Doctor.
The only thing which bothered me in an otherwise very good episode was that I'm sure Moffat told us in a previous Confidential that by the end of this series we'd know all about River and clear up any mystery about who she was, who she killed and her relationship to the Doctor. Misdirection?

Don't know. I think it was hinted at slightly who River MIGHT be but it was a bit stupid of him to say that and not deliver.
Otherwise a great episode !

i just dont get how she got there. I know why she was there but how.

He said that its his intention to do the whole story of River Song and to explain all those mysteries, yes, but I don't think he ever said it would be by the end of this season.
