What was the obvious thing we missed in 'The Eleventh Hour'

Moffat said there was something obvious we would of missed in Eleventh Hour that was vital for the finale. What was it?

Possibly the fact that Amelia was all alone? Though I'm grasping I think.

My son has just noticed in the opening night sequence of TEH that there doesn't seem to be any stars in the night sky. Could this be what SM was referring to?

Surely this. 7 year old girl in the house on her own plus big crack in universe.

Except for the opening shot of the earth surrounded by both the moon and an awful lot of stars?

I think it's the final scene the TEH where the camera tracks across the raggedy Doctor stuff to the wedding dress.

You can see the book about the Romans.

I agree we have stars in the opening shot however they seem to have disappeared over London and in the garden shots - maybe the lighting but it does seem strange in light of the latest episode

(Both not explained...)

I think you're right it was just where the heck are her parents, and if not where is her babysitter.

Yes, everyone was disappearing into the cracks....

... including the Ducks in the duck pond - Amy remembered that it was a duck pond!

But we still don't know why there were too many staircases and why there were no ducks in the pond

We do know why there were no ducks in the duck pond, they had disappeared through a crack in time. Likewise Amy's parents. Aunty Sharon had probably just gone the same way, which is why Amelia still remembered her when the Doctor arrived. We were distracted and not paying attention to the obvious.

Nobody's mentioned The apple with smiley face Amelia says her mum used to carve faces into them, but she can't remember anything else about her mum. This is one of those things that were left behind after her mum slipped through the crack and disappeared.

I think it's the duck pond and all that because there where stars in the opening scene.

Does this mean that the doctor has two people traveling with him? Or does anyone recon that he will get rid of rory like he got rid of mickey with rose?

He didn't get rid of Mickey... in face he grew to like Mickey but it was Mickey that realised there wasn't enough space in Rose's affections for both of them. That's why he chose to stay in the alt-Universe and replace Rickey in the fight against the emergent Cybermen.

Hopefully there will be two people travelling with the Doctor from Christmas onwards - Mr & Mrs Pond A married couple as companions, that's a first too I believe!
