Did Moffatt just re-use all of RTD's finale resolutions in one episode?

OK, this may be somewhat tenuous but

in Parting of the Ways, Rose saves the Doctor because she has the vortex in her head. In the Big Bang, Amy can restore the Doctor (and her parents) because she has had the universe flowing into her head/dreams from the crack.

in Doomsday, the Doctor saves the world by sucking the Daleks and Cybermen into the void which seals the hole through which they came and is threatening the universe, in the Big Bang, he saves the universe by himself stepping into the void through the cracks and hence allowing them to close.

in Last of the Timelords, the Doctor is restored by everyone thinking of the Doctor, in the Big Bang, the Doctor is restored by Amy thinking of the Doctor/TARDIS

in Journeys End, we have two Doctors at the same time, in the Big Bang we have two Doctors at the same time (one distracting the dalek, whilst the other wires the vortex manipulator into the pandorica).

But Steven Moffat did it, so it was brilliant.

He did. But he paced the episode as a series of questions and answers rather than as one big question with a very simple answer with explosions and light shows every minute and a half.

The Parting of the Ways was brilliant for the same reason — it contrasted the hum drum and spent a lot of time on Rose's sense of loss after being abandoned by the Doctor back in her own time and the way that her travels with the Doctor had improved her before plunging back into the action stuff.

I should have clarified that I meant "just" in the temporal sense not the deprecating sense...

No sarcasm or any funny implications intended here, but honestly....

I DON'T CARE if it was rewritten/nicked/whatever.

We all enjoyed it here at Casa Del Chicken and that as far as we're concerned is the most important thing.

My original post wasn't meant as a criticism but an observation.

It may be a false observation and the similarities just coincidental.

It may be deliberate on Moffett's part as a subtle homage to RTD (or perhaps just subtle way of saying "look, I can do everything RTD did in a finale and then some").

I also felt that River's final line with the phrase "everything changes" might have been a passing homage to Torchwood's tag line.

(and MrChicken is not allowed to comment :-p )

I thought it was a joke to the Face of Bo/jack to make us all think river is Jack.
