I read on Monday that Corrie is to revert back to 4 times a week, with the 8:30pm episode being dropped.

I also say a listing for an episode that is on during Euro 2004, when it has been pushed back to after the match, Wed 16th June I think, the times there were 9:45-10:30.

Maybe they'll do one-off 45 min episodes during the football, as I think a Friday episode is disappearing as well during the tournament.

Very true MSF, but then some people obviously find Hello Magazine a good source of TV News

Maybe a few 45 min specials here and there but theres no way ITV will do 45 minute eps all the time, just isnt practical!

My Source, about Corrie returning to 4 episodes a week, it was in Monday's Mirror

About the 45 minute episode after the football, it was in the Corrie's unhappy father Todd to be snared thread on this forum, I think the info was taken from the Radio Times site.

And no I'm not part of any conspiracy. Are you?

The Mirror...isn't it the paper that published them fake torture pictures ?
As for the snared thread it's full of crap.

Just had a look on the Radio Times site now, and looking from that:

There is no episode on Sunday 13th June as there is the Canadian Grand Prix on, immediately followed by the England/France match

Monday 14th's episode is listed as 9:45pm until 10:30, A 45 MINUTE EPISODE

Alright, it was for Monday, not Wednesday as I posted

Wednesday 16th is 10:00-10:30

I think we'll have a fe 45 minute specials over the next month or so with the football looming, mainly because the shedules can br chopped and changed easily, most football matches on ITV end at 9.45 so that 9.45 - 10.30 slot is ideal for Corrie (better than more Naughtiest Blunders). I dont see 45 minute eps being a permanent thing though. Once the summer is out of the way it'll be back to 5 a week in the usual slots!

It starts next week and runs until July 4th, I have a feeling (and im not stating this as fact) that ITV may take off the Monday 8.30 Corrie over the summer as they did last year for a while, withthe 8.30 ep returning late August (I think). Also with the Olympics on the BBC, ITV may take advangtage and put special eps of Corrie in place for people who arent bothered about sport, im sure EE will be moved around alot this summer with the Euro Cup & The Olympics so ITV could take advantage with Corrie specials. Like I say though I doubt this 45 minute episode thing will become reality, more likely the Daily Mirror noticed on a webite there were 45 min eps coming up for the football and printed "a time change for Corrie" as fact, they're good a that sort of thing!

that's way too much sport, I have a feeling we won't get to see much Neighbours and ITV soaps for a while.

I like Wimbledon, especially the doubles if you got sky you can choose between 4 or 5 matches, so it's great. The only ting is that they take Neighbours off the air.

Ah but Wimbledon is BBC so should have not effect on ITV and Corie at all. It's the bloody Olympics I worry about.

In my book, the Olympics and Wimbledon are 1000 times more worthy of air time than any football match! (just my opinion, of course!)
