We are intending to buy this tv in the near future. Have you got any good or bad things to say about the tv? TIA

Incase you don't already know this site, it's a useful source of info including setup, faults, and a useful forum. Ask a few questions there and see what answers come back

The FQ75 seems to have a rather high amount of niggles, not so sure about the FX65 you mention. I have the FX20 which is 50Hz not 100Hz.... excellent pictures and features. I recommend it for sure. Bloody heavy but a nice looking TV. Other than Sony, Panasonics always rate highly. I used to sell a lot of them.... Do spend time investigating these TVs though, as they all have an odd niggle ot quirk it seems!

Thanks for the info, I will have a look at that site. There are only three 32 inch Sony sets to chose from, one is the 75, the 65 and a LS one which has quite a rounded cabinet. I don't think Sony are making the FX20 anymore.

As you mentioned the 75 has had a lot of faults judging by the threads here which put me off this one though I prefer its appearance. I am not that keen on the 65's glass front but could live with it.

We basically just want a good quality television set with no extras, eg Dolby, digital tuner, etc but the Sony ones cost quite a bit of money. The Panasonic ones are cheaper and I know from what you have said before that they are reliable so it may be worth us looking at these too.

Hope you are enjoying your new job at the airport, quite a change from the tv selling.
