The Iphone Charger that came with the 3GS can be used to charge any of the Current Ipods or Iphones, Apple seem to use a Standard Charger to charge up all their MP3 Players and Phones.

Don't think it would be a problem as long as the Connection to the Car Charger uses the Connection that the Iphone Charger uses.

Im quite impressed with the new "slimline" charger which came with the iPhone 4.(just a new shape thougj - old chargers will still work)

its funny because when i got my phone from the carphone warehouse the man tried selling me in car charger and spare charger as he stated they where not the same
