New S/W Version & EPG - What did you do when v23 installed?

I experienced the EPG problems with the World Cup matches that others have mentioned. When v23 installed I DID NOT reset my box to default settings (as is often recommended), now I have reset my box and all is well.

What I would like to know is whether anyone who DID reset their box to default settings when v23 installed is encountering the EPG problems. Are the problems only occurring in boxes that were not reset to their default?

I did reset my box to default settings once v23 was installed and have experienced the problem where the EPG doesn't update properly when the football schedule is changed.

I believe this problem occurs if you have v23 installed regardless of whether you reset the box to default settings or not after the update, but I would like to hear from others to confirm this.

I also did a complete reset after v23 installation and whilst the EPG is much better for long term use it's updating of shorter term programmes is patchy. Like others I saw the problem with the football timing update. My TV with built in DTT EPG was updated much sooner than the PVR EPG.

I have had the same problem with the .23 version EPG. I have also sent them an e-mail about it and also raised it by phone to them today .

Can I suggest anybody that experienced the issue with the EPG not updating correctly for the F1 Motor racing and the World Cup ( ) raise it by both e-mail and phone to Humax UK because when I talked to them this morning I was told that I was the first person to report it......

I also did a reset to defaults after installing .23 and yes, my epg was screwed up yesterday. I did another reset yesterday to correct it. If Humax look at this forum they should get a pretty good idea that something is not quite right.

No. I routinely reset after a s/w upgrade and did so after .23, but still suffered the EPG problems and missed recordings that others have reported.

I have also experienced the problems of the EPG tonight (although the EPG seems right and the 'i' now and next wrong). I did a reset to default after updating.

I performed a default straight after the upgrade.

I had a couple of occasions where the EPG only loaded BBC and I had to wait over an hour for ITV to populate.

For the last few weeks though it's been sort of OK with only a few areas missing on initial resume from standby.

I did report this to Humax who just sent me instructions to reset the box again.

Hmm, seems like my theory that whether you did a default reset on install of v23 or not being the cause wasn't correct.

Having reset to defaults between the group stages and last 16 of the World Cup, the quarter final fixtures are now only partially there. One thing I have noticed though is that if you do a genre search on sport you can see all the fixtures and set them to record from there. I'm just hoping that the EPG doesn't override any of these
