bollocks.

for what possible reason would they want a gobby pain in the arse like kitten to win for?

does everyone here want her to win too, as she's getting the most coverage on this forum too?

'pete's sake.

no, but - no, but no - don't like, endemol, like get a % of the winners earnings, like after BB and everything, so like, isn't, like, d'uh! obvious they'd want to pick the winner? and of course, like, yeah - they obviously wanted, like, Cameron to win - coz he was like, so amazingly charasmatic, like, he woz always you know - gonna be HUGE star - so d'uh! its obvious they'd want him to win, isn't it?

and now its d'uh! obvious Kitten will be like another HUGE star coz she's so likable and nice - not like that bitch Shell, or pretty boy Stuart. so yeah - of course they're gonna fix it.

but like, just as well we're so smart like, not to fall for it. HA! to you BB.

Winners are not similar year to year they are usually contrasts (though Kate and Brian were an exception)

BB1 produced a winner who didn't stand out.

BB2 was a one man show with an outstanding winner and a happily family theme.

BB3 was condemned by some as having too much sex, too much competition. an unhappy familt divided in 2, booze and debauchery.........winner was female and funny.

C4 took fright and said tone it down. Endemol had a laugh and Cameron the puritan won BB4. BB4 was condemned as being too dull and the winner was seen as too puritanical.

BB5 tones down the stupid person role from BB2/3 , cuts the booze and competition but revisits the poor side. Puts graduates in to avoid charges of banality. Puts in people who are likely to jar with each other far more than in BB4. Its a safer version of BB3 with people who look like the final 4 of BB2 but without any entertainers. Who wins you decide - but Kitten, Marco, Emma, Michelle or Nadia would provide the opposite winner to Cameron. Or, if its a cross between BB2 and BB3, expect Dean and Elizabeth to win this time - look who is ahead in the polls..).

If BB had had their way last year, Jon Tickle would have won BB4. However, he did not.

It's completely appropriate for Channel 4 to focus on Kitten, unlikeable as she is, as she does seem to be the most provocative presence in there. The whole point about BB is that is now nothing to do with "reality TV" and everything to do with arch prefabrication and profit margins.

Channel 4 take the raw proto-putty that is the housemates' interactions and mould it into (hopefully) arresting television. Which is why Cameron was indeed so built up last year because after the departure of Jon, he was really the only one left with any "storyline" potential - his "personal journey" in South Africa, the possible romance with Steph. And it was interesting to see Davina completely jump on the potential offered by Scott and Nush's friendship and budding romance. They really were scraping the bottom of the barrel last year!
