Last year's finale got a 3.5 which wasn't massively up on regular editions (although there was a big leap in total viewers) so I suspect this year's will get about the same as I can't see it rebounding much whilst NBC stick with all the repeats and give it a lead in like Breakthrough.”
It's ridiculous that Breakthrough is still in its slot. NBC seriously need to sort out their summer schedule. They seem to focus more on their cable portfolio in the summer (USA, Bravo and Syfy).
True Blood was the #1 show on all US TV last week among adults 18-49. Its 3.0 rating is more impressive when you consider that HBO is only in 32m out of 115m US TV homes. More than 5.2m viewers tuned in. The most watched scripted show was Nickelodeon's iCarly. 5 entries for the same episode made the cable top 25 totalling more than 26m across the broadcasts.

Disney had a strong Sunday night with Hannah Montana bringing in 5.75m, Good Luck Charlie following with 4.97m and Jonas LA on 4.19m. But while iCarly doesn't seem to generate the same hype as Miley Cyrus or The Jonas Brothers, it's definitely the #1 kids show in the US right now.
Discovery continues strongly with Deadliest Catch and launched "Shark Week" on Sunday night. Over 2 hours they averaged around 3.2m viewers and a 1.5 A18-49 rating. They topped ABC & NBC at 9pm and CBS as well at 10pm.
