I think Matthew Wright is genuinely on honeymoon and the fact they've been promoting the show plus the tenth anniversary special means that it will be on air for a little while yet.

I do like the show especially when they have a good panel and it doesn't take itself too seriously.

The shows that will stay are Wright Stuff, Gadget Show, Hotel Inspector, The US imports like CSI, Mentalist and NCIS, factual shows, Milkshake and the soaps.

Yeah, I really like the show as well. It can be hit and miss sometimes as far as the panel is concerned (Lowri Turner's presence results in me switching off immediately) and occasionally they cover one or two "duff" topics, but in the context of daytime TV generally it really is about the only thing worth watching.

Yeah I'm hoping that it just stays as it is because I think its perfect as it is. I think that the revamp a few months ago wasn't needed and I liked the set more before though I'm happy the actual format didn't change much.

I agree the panel can be hit and miss, Steve Furst is great especially with 'Mood of the Daily Mail.' and the Lady Baba segment last series was hilarious. I do think they need better cover presenters though when Matthew's away as Nihal this week's has been woeful. He's fine as a panelist but he's awful as main presenter.

Spooks might get a remake in the US for ABC. The UK version currently airs on BBC America and A&E. The show is produced by Kudos (owned by Liz Murdoch's Shine) who have struck a deal with ABC Studios which will develop the project.

Life on Mars bombed on ABC a few years ago. Before it even aired, an exec at the network expressed concerns in leaked emails, suggesting that the story could have been told and wrapped up in 6 episodes and wouldn't sustain a 22 part season.

Live from Studio Five must be even worse than I thought if Ian Wright leaving is considered a bad thing!

Any news on who is hosting the football on Five this year now Colin Murray is taking over MOTD2?

What is the worse terrestrial rating, I'm guessing between 0.1 and 0.2?

I think Spooks will do well in America as long as they get good actors. I mean FBI shows do well here so I don't see why it wont be vice versa

It's missing Home and Away.

It had a loyal following of 300k when that was on.

Still nothing to shout about mind!

I thought it was 0.2 but not 0.1, I must have read it wrong. I guess it won't be long until it's getting 0.04 and rounding to 0.00 I think it might get better rating ( not by much) as people tune in to find out about Wright and his replacement.

Yeah, I'm very surprised to see that MtW is beating Sherlock, I'd expect Mock the week to be at number 23 not 5!

Live From Studio Five had 100k viewers one episode last week but I'm sure some shows during the night-time must record 20k or less viewers on terrestrial.

In prime time? (6-10pm)

You don't get much worse than 100,000 for a terrestrial channel at 6.30pm.

Interestingly, Pizzatheaction re-posted this link a couple of days ago (originally from DMN), which gives a good indication of the sort of night-time ratings the terrestrial channels get:

Yeh primetime wise I expect that is the lowest.

It was always a solid performer for E4 even when it was flagging on C4 so it was a good move making it E4 exclusive.
