WDYTYA about half a million up from recent weeks. Poor for Real Crime. Really unusual to see ITV1 in 3rd place in the Monday 9pm slot.

It says more about how popular Dragon's Den is if anything, Real Crime got 2.7m last week so its about the same.

After almost stagnant ratings for much of the series, Big Brother continued its recent upward trajectory with 2.78m inc. +1 for last night, well up on last week's 2.34m.

It was in 3rd place last Monday too It's up against two very appealing shows though.

Hilarious considering a lot of people said they'd boycott it after Friday

Anyone have any predictions for tonights show? I think the BB11 final will average around 3.2m, the UBB launch will average at around 3.8m and the whole thing at 3.4m (ish). I hope the breakdown is posted tomorrow.

Having such a drawn out show might hinder it, i'm expecting a big peak though.

What time does UBB start do you know? Have no interest in the final, but am curious as to who is going in?

I've gone far too low with my prediction at 2.6m. That was made midweek last week though before it started to show signs of life.

I think it's probably perfectly scheduled on a Tuesday where there are no soaps to contend with at 8pm so it should be able to clear 3m for the near three hour programme and pull in a decent sized peak.

Its one long show, final of BB11 and start of UBB
8.00pm - 10.50pm

Channel 4 then have it listed from tomorrow onwards as Ultimate Big Brother. So i'm guessing in terms of ratings, BB11 series average will be wrapped up tonight.

Most likely 9.30-10pm. They could definitely have benefitted from scheduling it as 2 shows because the latest figures have shown that the BB11 final will be able to hold up itself unlike last year, whilst UBB could attract back some of casual viewers who gave up on launch night. They probably predicted a similar situation to last year with the final getting barely above a regular eviction so tagged UBB on the end to boost it a bit.

Why keep a crap name with a crap reputation when it reglarly gets crap ratings? It's not like it'll be missed.

Very good rating for Big Brother, quite comfortably as well a series high for a Monday, previous high was 2.5m in Week 7. Says a lot when it beat the 9pm show on ITV1. I won't be surprised actually in Channel 4 wins the night tonight from 9pm onwards.

Good also for Emmerdale, first time above 7m in a little while, and a good sign for it heading into the Winter months.

LFSF back to 300k, i honestly did think a 30min show would do better, but i take that back. Am i the only one who watches the show? I quite like getting a dose of celeb news, i miss Liquid News.

Alex Reid yes, Aisleyne no, Chantelle yes, Nasty Nick no...

Is it me or is the Ultimate BB lineup not sounding too promising so far?

Ultimate = Most Desperate?

Agreed, could be the ultimate turn-off, will tune in out of nostalgic curiosity, loved the first few series.

The thing is its not going to please everyone. Alex has just ruled himself out on This Morning. It does seem with such a big bunch to choose from speculation is all over the place.
