Ant & Dec are meant to be on £5m each. Simon Cowell doesn't have an exclusive deal with ITV. There's no way his show pulled in 100% more viewers than forecast let alone 300%. Also, why would he care what Adrian Chiles is paid? That doesn't sound like a great bargaining position, it's not as though they'll be competing for jobs at ITV!
It might be a good idea to try and get him on some sort of "first look" agreement for any comedy series. But aren't they already stocked up on chatshows? Unless it's some sort of ploy by ITV to negotiate with Jonathan Ross?
